McGuffie and the Bobcats are back to their playoff form of last year. They routed Jersey Village tonight. When I left the score was 56-7 early in the 4th quarter. McGuffie has 17 carries for around 250 yards and 6 TDS. Cobb ran for over 100 yards and a touchdown. And backup running back Tevin Champagne was impressive with a TD of his own in the 3rd Quarter. The bobcats defense looked better then they have all year, they were active and fired up all night.
Lobos are next.

Congrats to the Bobcats - that's a big statement game for them. Good to hear McGuffie is back (I guess:rolleyes: - we do have Fair in a couple of weeks after all!!). No, really, it is good to hear that he is back...it's started out tough for him.

He scored on the first play of the game and didn't look back from there. His speed was the same as it was and his cutbacks were good. The team still has some things to fix but hey its a good start. Im not looking ahead to Falls; Cy Fair cannot take any District games lightly. Lobos next! :D
O and also the O Line must have worked extremely hard they were working over a much bigger D Line. It was impressive..Props to the O line.

"Uh Oh....He's Back" .............. Uh Oh....It's Jersey Village:eek:
Kinda difficult to really gauge if they're "back", it was JV. Glad to hear they're playing better and getting into form.
Congrats on having McGuffie back, he really is a great back:)

Well if Katy HAD lost and went out and beat Morton Ranch 62-7 and I made it out that Katy was now back in playoff form, I think you might just say the same thing. The difference is Katy hasn't lost and Fair is just now getting McGuffie back. To say they are in playoff form seems silly, imo. Plus, Katy wouldn't let MR score, again jmo.:Music

Well Cy Fair's playoff form is run the ball and play defense. and thats what they did Friday night. Start of the season was frustrating and now theres finally something to cheer about so just keep your crap to yourself. Sorry not everyone can be as good as Katy. Except umm Cy Falls last year right? :D

It's good to see McGuffie back. He's been pretty much the flavor of the month in R3. Five weeks is not very long and he showed he is healthy and ready and obviously hungry. I might make the Falls game since it's on a Sat.

"last year right?" Yes it was last year. I guess you missed the imo in my post. It was not a dig, sorry you took it that way. Sometimes I wonder why I stand up for 17-5, with posts like the one above I probably shouldn't.
