This looks to be a great game. Where is Allen's stadium?

i dont kno why this game isnt getting as much hype as CJ and SV did...well i kno 26-5A is more known here in SA and is more interesting district, but still this game is as BIG and top notch playing will be required to win

Plano scored 27 on a team Allen scored 40 on(35 in the first half).
Plano shut them out, while Allen's first-team defense gave up seven to them.
The team is Lewisville so it might not be that big of an indicator.

This is going to be the game of the week for anyone interested. I'll have my breakdown up later this evening (bet. 6-7 pm).

If you could bet on high school football, I would be bettin on this one.

Plano is strong. Strong defense, great running game. Plano will score somewhere between 28 to 38. Allen will be around 17.

**disclaimer - I am huge Plano fan, so of course I think this is how the game will go.

I want to go with Allen but I'm going to have to go with Plano. Allen's defense needs lots of work especially with Justin Jordan as Plano's RB. Should be a great game though and I can't wait for it.

Comparison scores of Lewisville is not a good indicator of how the two teams will face off. Yes I am a Wildcat homer, Have been for close to 25 years. Plano's defense sets them apart from everyone else in 8-5A. Strong secondary and linebacker core with solid senior leadership is the difference. Plano Shut down Fossil Ridge, Plano West passing attacks and they shut down Rowlett's running game. In fact they have not given up a rushing touchdown all year.

Allen's home field along with big game experience will help and if they can generate turnovers they have a chance. However I see Plano by 2 touchdowns if they stay focused and not get caught up in the game. Plano had to many personal fouls in the first half (3 or 4)against West infront of 14,500.

PS. Allen has the money they need a new Stadium bad. That good of a program should not play in that old and cramped stadium that has no parking.

Yeah, I always felt bad that our visistors have to sit in those small stands especially with the Plano schools being so close so their fans don't have that long of a drive. But we are in the process of making a new stadium (can't remember how many it seats). I read about it a couple of years ago and they've barely started working on it! :mad:

there was a rumor that they would have a new stadium built by the beginning of last year...I don't even think that there has been a bond package with a new stadium deal in it and I don't think they have any plans to build a new one.

These HS stadiums are something aren't they?! Pretty soon there will be double headers coming to you live from the newly built 20,000 cap stadium, in Garland!!! ;)

Does anybody have an internet radio link for this game? Apparently the station I usually listen to Plano games is not carrying this one. Does Allen have a station carrying the game that I can get on the internet?

I believe the land has been purchased but there is no bond money for the staduim yet. Well this sucks. Plano's the first team in I don't know how long that scored 40+ points on us besides SLC.

Nathan Dick, the starting QB, hurt himself on the third play of the drive...just our luck... :(
