College Park decided to open things up a little bit tonight and went with their starters a little bit more against a very good Lamar Cons team led by one of the best RB's in the state, Jacquizz Rodgers.
The score flattered LC. Some very questionable officiating tonight. CP are going into district with some momentum. I do not think they have produced their best yet in spite of the 5-0 record.
But please keep them unranked. Matter of fact, do not even rank them in Houston.

i have said it from the very beginning, ever since i watched the JV team play in 2005 i was convinced that Carson would have that program up and running and playing at The Woodlands level from the get go. I called a first year Playoff spot, and i said it would be sooner then later when CP would be challenging the Woodlands for that second spot...and eventually will be challenging lufkin (if in the same district) for that District title...
ive always been a CP believer....
Isnt that right dad?

Hey, I've been in your corner since May! :D
Very, very nice win...again. Think your kilted neighbors are taking notice?

Yep. Even more than I was in the first year. Absolutely.

Correct again. You picked us to finish 2nd. (God, I hope you haven't jinxed us)
Achieved some notoriety out Highlander way I heard. Apparently they took exception to your pick. :D.
I hope they're not taking notice. Although the way their season is going, it might end up being the Championship game for both schools.

By the way, I have to give props to College Park's Homecoming Committee for keeping the halftime event as short as possible. It shows a lot of consideration to the players and the visiting fans.

Do I know my team or what? I posted this on another CP/LC thread this week.
I wonuld not put much stock into the LC/MC game. MC, I believe won in the waning seconds becuase of a lucky bounce on an onsides kick. Cavs win 35 - 14.
