I've tried to bouch for the Lake, but until they understand what everyone in the stands understand they'll get bi*** slapped week in and week out!!

I tried to warn all those blind faithful that Lake had serious problems this year. But I was just slammed by almost everyone. I live in Lake's back yard and watched them hang on by a thread each week. Lee has a terrible defense and skewed the stats making ev1 think it was Lake of old (Oswald era).

We all know your posting these moronic "LAKE LOST" things because you've been owned by North Shore (a team Lake has beaten and you haven't) and your team failed to beat us last year (I don't see Katy fans being so caught up in our failures, or Lamar, Memorial, etc)


Personally I think that by evily laughing at a loser in a football game you were not even involved in your just bringing down your school, your team, and the intelliegence of every one who reads it. We are all Dumber now thanks to you.

Finally when you say "I was awarning all of the blind Lake faithful" I think thats a lie, as far as I know the only person that goes to Lake on this thing is...me. I'm neither blind nor faithful (anymore).

After being a junior watching my school go to the State Semi's, this is the worst feeling, being condemned to football hell by getting beat by the likes of Brazoswood... maybe this is god telling us to go back to basketball, i dunno.

Fleeman93....you've been vendicated. Obviously they didn't pay attention to what Memorial did last year with the slow start and strong finish. Playing quality teams in your preseason just makes them better when district starts. Its been a battle each time Pearland has played them, much more so than Lake this year.

First off....I played the game for over 20 yrs (hs, college and pro)....so I know the game. And second, I stand behind what I said last week....and it's on Memorial to prove me wrong by winning out, as you guys say they will. If so...who cares? If not...who cares? It won't matter when any of these teams get to the playoffs! Pearland is the only team with a very small chance....and that's only if the "Big Boys" beat themselves!!!

My point was to establish the fact that Lake was not that far behind Pearland, and athletically they're not. Better use of their talent would produce wins!!

But Pearland is better....like I've been saying!!! They're just not 63-10 SLC-better!!

No that would be Clear Creek on the 2000 to 2002 runs losing to Baytown Lee (Drew Tate) twice and North Shore once.

Pearland got to the semi finals in 2001 with a 13-1 record losing to San Antonio Taft 21 -10 in the Astrodome. Since 1997 when Coach Heath took over Pearland has made the playoffs 6 out of 8 years having not won a playoff game for 50 years before that. They have made the playoffs the last 5 consecutive years and on the way to their 6th. Yes, they keep drawing North Shore in 1st round D1 action since moving back to 24-5A and not beating them. They have gone from the door mat of 24-5A to a yearly contender that has to learn to beat North Shore or never get to the dance.
