Here's my early week prediction and I'll go out on a limb here for the rest of the season...............
Ld Bell will BEAT SGPrarie this Friday night at Pennington field by 45 points and will be chanting bring on the Trojans.
Bell WILL NOT LOSE another game this season and will defeat Houston Yates in the State Championship game in San Antonio in December. Remember you heard it here first . Look me up in December and tell me then I was wrong. Cause as of now I am the biggest LD BELL HOMER on these boards.

Seriously to BHS06, GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND YOUR TEAM EACH WEEK. I hope you do well. As I said about four weeks ago , you are in arguably the toughest district form top to bottom and it will be an uphill battle. TrueBlue, someday I will tell you who I am, maybe I am a TROJAN in Raiders clothing !!!!

Hey, I completely understand why you and many others think we don't have what it takes to compete for a playoff spot. We haven't really proved much rather then we can turn the ball over 4 times a game, beat an 0-5 team and beat a team without their offensive cornerstone.

However, with how we have played the past 3 weeks after that embarrassment reality check against North Mesquite, we are getting better and better each week. We have scored more and allowed less each week. I watch film, I go to the practices, I listen to the coaches, and team mates. From what I see each week, our game plan and practices and everything, I believe we can win against SGP. Their offense is decent but not great, their defense is their usual butt kicking self but it does, surprisingly, have its areas that we can exploit to move the ball. Will it be easy to execute that gameplan? No, but if we focus and practice enough, plus believe we can execute it, then who knows. With how our defense is playing, we have a shot. Our coach told us "It will take a great effort, 48 minutes of fight. 5 minutes of goofing around can cost us the game. If we can go 48 minutes with a fight each second, execute and minimize our mistakes, we can beat these guys".

As for my predictions.. never am I going to pick against my team. It will always be me predicting us to win. They are just predictions and don't matter, so why not.

BHS06, you are the CLAS OF BELL HIGH SCHOOL. You ARE the type of young man that can help turn this mess around. Please keep up the hard work, dedication and you will be stronger. I wish Bell luck - BUT - SGP is rated #4 in the Area (FWST) and although SGP is not ranked in the AP State Poll Top 10, they did get 3 votes. Bell better be hitting on all cylinders because SGP appears to be the real deal so far.

The combined record of the teams that SGP has beat so far is 9-16. SGP will be the toughest test that Bell has faced to this point -- Remember that Bell was within 8 yards of beating Macarthur -- had the same type of close game against Irving -- but took the ball 80 yards on the final drive of the game to score and won -- with the learning curve on the new offense, Bell just stands to get better each week -- and if the Mac and Irving games are any indication, that is exactly what is happening -- Bell will need to take another step this Friday to beat SGP -- if so, it will be the biggest regular season win in a long time -- great article in todays FWST on Bell's defense...
