Thought I would make a thread to give some love the guys in the trenches. So far they have looked great! Leonard Davis was absolutely dominating people last night as well as Colombo. Even though Flozell had some penalties he was going against a premiere pass rusher and did a good job. If the line continues to play like this we will be in good shape for the rest of the year.

I'm with you 100% but Flozell would get a few penalties linig up against his own shadow. How bad is it when your propensity for penalties is a running joke with the commentators? For all he does well, I'm not sure I'll miss all those silly penalties that have wiped out more drives and big plays than I care to remember next season.

if you put grossqb back there, the oline would look like they played terrible. romo makes them look much better. drew would have been sacked 8 times last night.

BIG is having a damn good year so far. He's just mauling people. He pretty much pwn3d Tommie Harris in this game which is amazing.

Right? There was a play in the 4th last night were it looked like he accidentally knocked over two guys. Unreal.

Tap the brakes people... Romo is making the o-line look a lot better than they are. Hopefully they will continue to improve. They play better in the second half after the D-line is tired. They did blow some holes open for th RBs.
I would like to see them get better.

Dallas ranks 5th in the NFL in rushing, 3rd in ypc (4.8) and 1st in rushing TDs. That's the line's doing. The 5 sacks they have given up is 8th best in the NFL and Dallas' 9.8 yards per attempt is 2nd best in the NFL. That means the passing game is going down field which means Romo is getting enough time to go down field. That's the line's doing.

Leonard Davis has revived he's career with Dallas and probably is a top #5 NFL O-lineman right now (IMO). He'll be All-Pro for many years if he keeps playing like that. Plus, damn he is big. He looks a lot bigger now then when he was at Texas.
I would of loved to see some UT practices with Leonard Davis and Shaun Rogers going up against each other.

Did anyone else know that Flozell is deaf in one ear? I read that for the first time, yesterday. Makes some things understandable, huh?

One thing I'd like to add, is that the Bears defense is legit, and the job that the Boys' offense did against them says alot.

I'm gonna try and find the link. It was mentioned in something I read on ESPN.com or SI.com. Had no idea until now.

Drew would have had 8 sacks playing behind the Cowbows 90's O-Line
