I'm having a hard time with this one, too. With the Bear's D and special teams, all they really need from the qb position is someone who can functionally manage a game. That's not exactly a highly set bar but Grossman can't even give you that. I could give a :Censor: about the Bears so it really doesn't matter to me but wouldn't Griese be worth a look? Does any one really believe the Bears will renew Rex at season's end?

the much maligned grossqb is doing exactly the same thing he did last year and they played in the super bowl. therefore, it must be his supporting cast that is failing the beasts. they could be looking at back to back with any other starting qb in the league, and several backups too. lovey is to be faulted for this.
