Still, this whole thing was Mr. A.J.Smith's doing. He created the situation because his ego fired Marty. Turner was hired but many members of his staff were forced upon him as a condition of his being hired. San Diego's biggest problem is a defense that went from lights out to underacheiving. The DC, Cottrell, is Smith's hand picked choice to run this defense. Turner will get the O straightened out but who's gonna fix the D? Any suggestions, Mr.Smith?

Cowher in SD? There's enough talent there to tempt a coach without ginormous dollars. I said tempt. He'll get a premium contract whenever he decides to get back in the game, no doubt.

Ya but dude he only went 14-2 last year! That is unacceptable!
