Great first half...all looked strong...we even did well on special teams...28-0 at half...Second half was sloppy...streaks of greatness...but trouble making the plays and struggle holding on to the football...still did OK...final 28-7...still held Churchill to less points than other teams have...improvement every week, that is all we, as fans and parents ask for...Go Rockets!!!

They played much better and must take game to game. They did play smash mouth football and had like 410 total yards to Churchills 203. The defense will have to improve and those turnovers have to stop. You cannot fumble on the one yard line it would have made it 35 -0

The Judson Linebackers did not play very well....

If Churchill would have decided to stick with running the QB they may have had better luck. He had a pretty good night rushing the ball. Judsons D needs a lot of work.

I don't agree with you at all. The defense can use some work but how can you say a lot when they held them to 7 points and created several turnovers:confused:

The turnovers were a product of great play in the secondary. The one drive that Churchill decided to grind out mostly on the ground and not throw deep down field they scored on. And it was a 98 yd drive. I tried to pay close attention to the lb's, and it seemed they were missing tackles in the hole quite often. Or the QB beat the lb's to the edge and they were trailing the play. I have watched Judson play ball for 20 years and this years defense is one of the few that comes to memory that does not have a playmaker type at the lb position.

I think they should have called a timeout and let the other guy get some reps on the sideline because he came in cold.

Now that you broke it down better and are not saying the whole defense....I totally agree

The defense played OK, but the runningback kept getting to many yards, and you have to admit that Churchill did have receivers open and they kept dropping the ball in open spaces. I feel ay times on deep balls that the coverage was excellent, but on the short passes, Churchill players were open way to much. A good team will take advantage of that, so we better figure out.
