For the few of you who care,

Yeah, so a sack full of flaming crap could have played better than UNT in the second half. They really need to put giovanni vizza in. I mean, if riley DOES end up going to UNT, he'll probably be the starting qb his first or second year, and meager has thrown like 8 ints in his first 3 games.
score at beg of 2nd
UNT 17
FAU 03
Final
UNT 20
FAU 30

Even the magic of the Todd Dodge spread can't compensate for the suck factor of a Daniel Meager. That one hurt. Bring on Vizza, please!
You can't blame Dodge for any of the mishaps this season. He is playing with someone else's terrible recruits AND it is his first year. Hopefully the brass at UNT knows this as well.
I am rooting for UNT though, my fiance is studying music there.

yah i went to this game and UNT was unstoppable in the first half......then the 2nd half came. I've never seen a team do such a reversal. You gotta blame it on the offense. The D got worn out with the Offense going 3 and out EVERYTIME in the 2nd half. New QB please.....

it coincided with another collassal beat down thru which i suffered simultaneously sat night. for all you who think i am im mune to losing due to my slc relationship, just sit in my favorite college stadiums a while. right now my favorite teams are 0fer and close to last in every defensive category and one is almost last in offense too. my buddy and i played together at rice, and after last year's bowl game, at least we can die knowing or beloved owls have both beta tu in our memory, and been to a bowl game. i presume td will have the meanies winning long before the owls make it back, but right now, things aren't looking too mean. and they are likely to get worse this weekend in fayetteville. i'm predicting mcfadden's heisman hunt is going to get well this weekend.

Tough start for Dodge Ball in Denton. I was very excited before the season as everyone else.
Dodge may figure out how to bottle up that first half.:o

I read that Vizza is going to start getting some serious playing time this week.
I think the kid (Vizza) has some talent with not only he's arm but legs. Saw a copy of the Alamo Heights vs Cove 4A State Title game and he looked pretty damn impressive (IMO). He also had like 2 touchdowns called back in that Cove game one was an impressive run of about 40 yards where he outran some very talented Cove defenders.
I think Dodge should throw Vizza to the wolves this year and let him grow up. I think Vizza could be a lot like Todd Reesing of (Lake Travis and Kansas) right now. Very solid QB that makes plays and keeps mistakes down. Not going to wow you off the field but keeps the chains moving for 1st downs and scores.
PS. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I dont think Riley Dodge will be a shoe-in for the starting QB job at North Tx when he gets there. I think Vizza in many ways is just as talented and in some ways even more so. There both pretty solid but Vizza is a little bigger than Riley Dodge.
