I hate not knowing if he scores. The first time I saw it I was freaking out because it cuts off in the end

Every time I see him extend his arm in the end, I just picture the defender karate chopping his arm and making him fumble and look like a fool. Other than that, pretty cool stuff.

I think that commercial is awesome.
Not sure if Merriman is the right choice for the first part, would have preferred Urlacher, but its still a cool commercial.

Merriman is a way more athletic football player than urlacher. He just looks better running across the field. Now if they would have had Urlacher standing still and just staring someone down, now that always makes a good commercial.

i like the commercial. So do my kids, which i am sure what Nike hoped for.

The Urlacher/ Merriman argument is stupid. They are both great players at different positions.

I think they need to extend the commercial with some other players...

i want to see Romo smiling through Lincoln Financial Field and hitting TO with a nice pass, only to be followed by TO doing an eagle dance flying into the ground..

I'd like to see DeMarcus Ware nailing McNabb as well, in a preview of jerryland.

I doubt these scenarios would happen because of Jerry's other merchandising agreements, but hey, it's my fantasy...:D

I'm just saying, MO is that Urlacher is more of a stare down guy and Merriman looks better running across the field. Simple as that.

I can understand that. merriman seems to talk a whole lot, like yelling around, before , and after the play. He thinks he's the second coming of LT, and could very well be. You'd better know where the dude is lining up, because he's pretty close to being unblockable.

Playing rush end/ outside LB is a totally different role than MLB. Urlacher seems to be a quieter, stare-down guy, to your point, but intimidating just the same. They say Butkus talked pretty much the whole game, so I don't think it's a difference because of their positions, but simply their own unique personalities. I'd love it for either guy to play for my beloved Cowboys.

I tend to like the quiet players better. Earl, Emmitt, Darren Woodson, and moose Johnston are examples of guys that I loved to watch, that were as intimidating as anyone else in the game, but didn't run their mouths. One exception to this was Michael Irvin, who turned me off with the constant chatter, but the guy had the heart and courage of a warrior on the field. I admire that too.

My kids, who choose the majority of athletic apparel in my house, like both guys( Urlacher and Merriman.) I think both styles of play are appealing because they both produce results, which drive interest and admiration.

I want to see VY come and make a long run past the entire Texans defense and then it switch to Zach Thomas or Jason Taylor making big hits.

I hate Romo but they are still good athletes and they deserve credit. Heck Zach Thomas has been labeled the most under rated athlete in the NFL one year because he is so small but he packs a punch. He can pick the ball off and make a big play. I remember last year against NE he made the game saving shoe string tackle on 4th down to help the Fins kneel one more play.
