Seems like SA Churchill was WAY up there in all the preseason polls...they won the game that mattered (SV) and nothing else, so far.

Waco, Judson, and of course Tyler Lee are somewhat surprising. Klein Collins is as well, but Goodson had to be healthy and he hasn't been. On the plus side, Tyler John Tyler is for real, as is Klein Forest. Dallas Carter looks to make a decent run as well.

It is not surprising that both Judson and Lee are having issues. These teams both play week in and week out with huge targets on them, and very high expectations. These schoold both just have very average teams and both will not be in the post season.

Surprisingly it's not Lee....seeing how it is I didn't really see a super season in their future to begin with.

Plano has jumped out of nowhere, after a few down years.
This Garland Sachse team is new, and kickin' butt. Beat a solid NG team.
Texas City tanked, big time. Losses to ALvin and Westside.

Judson is a little surprising.
And, Midland Lee......wow, who's responsible for making their schedule? Whoever he is he should be fired!!

...Judson will be in the post season if we can learn our new offense. If you notice, we do well in the first half, then everyone makes adjustments and our offense doesn't know what to do because they have been running this offense for less than a year. When our guys get it together, we will be a very good team once again.

If you saw what they had coming back off that State Championship team, and not going off what SOME Tyler Lee fans were saying (by some I mean NOT all which some of their fans seem to think I am critizing them all, all the time), and the media outlets (papers/radio/TV) then you would know this team was not near as good as last season.

I dont even think they were that good IN THE REGULAR SEASON. They some how picked it up come playoff time and pulled it off. But this isn't 2004. This is 2005. And they could easily be 0-5 right now had it not been for Chaminade and Waco's mistakes in both of Tyler Lee's wins.

I only got to see Lee in that first game, and I came on here saying the same thing, I didn't think they would beat Colerain or Trinity. But I didn't think they were that bad into go from beating Rockwall 41-7 a year ago to losing to them 21-14.

We'll see if they can pull themselves out of the hole. But if they lose Thursday, then the best that they can get is a 3rd place finish in District. We'll see what happens, but I just dont see Lee making the playoffs this season. Good thing I was the one to say they wouldn't in the off-season. But I also said North Mesquite would make the playoffs...wow...I look stupid there.
