Week 6 Score Updates

With all of the Hurricane Rita make-up games, I believe we have games everyday this week. Some teams will play 2 games between now and Saturday, beginning with some 22-5A action this afternoon.

#2 Westfield is taking on Baytown Lee, who is 2nd to last in 5A in points allowed :eek:. Who knows how odd preparation schedules will affect these games, but this one should not be close. The game kicks off at around 7:30pm (following the Spring vs. Sterling game) and will be broadcast on TSRN (http://www.tsrnsports.com/).

I just came across another SICK stat...

So far, in this game, North Shore has forced 6 fumbles and has recovered 3 of them.

For the season (including this game), they have forced 28 fumbles and they've recovered 18.

For those that haven't seen NS play, they hit like no other high school team I've seen...they hit like a college team, and the fumbles are a direct result.

Hey myround it seems you have had one too many ROUNDS because the more you type the more foolish your statements are. Every team is different THIS YEAR so beating a team this year does not mean you would have beat them last year. You live your life in the IF world don't you? I live in the real world and I know that anything can happen and a great team can be beat on any given night. I think I need to put the rest the SLC v. LV conflict. First of all just because Longview gave up 1 circus catch does not all the sudden mean they have pass defense. Who seems to care about the 2 picks they made, the fact they were able to get loads of pressure with their front 4 and with blitz, or that QB might be one to watch for next year. And on the other side to be honest i think Southlake has one of the most underated defenses around. Anyone whos actually watched them play as noticed that even powerful offenses have had trouble having their normal success against the Dragons. Their not the most athletic bunch but they r very sound and make good adjustments. Javorskie Lane having to run from the QB position, shutting down Adron Tennel AND Jamal Evans what more do u want from a team thats usually good for at least 40 plus. The bottom line is no one can forsee any distinct advantages for any team in the playoffs because theyre not even here yet!

That's the main thing I'm sick of. The "What if?" situations. You'll notice I've never said anything about a What if we play so and so or What if we're in Div 1 etc. etc.
