i Hate :Censor: brandon armstrong.
its because of him that when we scout against varsity they have to tackle the JV backs extra hard to get ready for him. This has been the hardest week of practice yet.

How did the Permian QB stack up against your Region 1 pick?

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I believe Byrd was just over 300 total yards. I should note this is not always a stat reward. I factor in the competition of the game. If two players pass for 400 yards, but one does it in a blow out and the other in a closer game. I'll usually go with the one who does it in a closer game.

Jim Jeffcoat's son?
Yep. He's a So and he is going to be great. He has size and good instincts already, and West's strength is going to be their defense. I think he has a "little" brother as well that will be playing next year.
I sat on the same row as his dad and family during last year's West-Garland playoff game.
That family can put away the groceries. There was a stack of trash a foot high when they left.
