I think this is a really good possibility. No one else in the NFC really sticks out like the Cowboys do.
The Bears don't have an offense with Jones gone, and Grossman still sucks.
Vikings may get a wild card, but only because of their defense. Jackson is not that great of a QB.
Lions look good, but show me some defense. Possible wild card, but that's it.
Packers defense looks awesome, but they are still a very young team (besides Favre).
The Seahawks are still good, but Alexander is not what he was 2 years ago and I do not think they are the best team in their division anymore (49ers).
49ers are the best team in the NFC West with that defense and Frank Gore controlling the clock on offense.
The Rams are good, and they could take a wild card spot, but that is it.
Cardinals are still getting better, but wont make the playoffs.
The Eagles have only Westbrook and LJ Smith on offense. McNabb is on the back side of his career with his injuries finally getting the better of him.
The Redskins defense looks good, but the offense still needs some work. They will be there in the hunt, but wont beat the Cowboys.
Giants suck...no Tiki Barber = 5-11 season.
Panthers will win their division at 10-6, but wont win a playoff game on the road.
Saints might get a wild card spot if they can get back on track by starting to run McAllister more often.
Buccs and Falcons suck. Period.
With that said, if the Cowboys beat the Bears they will be the clear cut favorite to win the NFC Championship. The playoffs are going through Dallas this year!!:D

Having a good defensive lineman coming in fresh halfway through the season is not a bad thing if he can keep his head out of his butt and not break the law again.

Nose tackle and defensive tackle are two different things.
NFC Title game: Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys
(The previous two times that has ever happened the good guys won:))

I promise you the Cowboys win the division, and go deeper into the playoffs than the Redskins!:D

Interesting scenario. I think the Skins finally have a keeper with Cambell at qb. Love Gibbs. Hate Lil' Danny:D

Color me stupid but I think of all the headline grabbers Tank is most likely to clean up his act. Good pickup that turns to great once his improved behavior becomes a proven commodity. He may just surprise all the naysayers & I think he'll transition well to the Cowboy's scheme. Imagine having an interior rush coming from the line! Plus I like the idea of a mid season infusion. If you can add Tank & Ellis around week 8, I think that's huge for a team looking to roll into the postseason.

I like this signing alot! Not to mention, Tank is one of the strongest guys in the league, and he's also one of the fastest d-lineman in the league.

If I were an offensive lineman, I'd just step out of his way. Don't want him to start channeling "The Last Boy Scout".

I wouldn't bet against New England this season. Once the Cowboys get their defensive players back, it could be really exciting.

It will be hard wiping that grin off of Jones face now.
Tank only needed a change in scenery.
