Cowboys-24
Bears-17.

Cowboys D makes a stand agaisnt the Bears on their last drive. Rex throws desperation pass that gets picked off by Hamlin.

Cowboys defense will get Greg Ellis back this week, and possibly Terrence Newman too. The defense steps it up, picking Grossman off 2 times in the game and sacking him 3 times.

I am as big a Cowboy fan as they come, but I picked the Bears because they are at home and because defense wins games.

If the Cowboys win this game in Chicago, they have to be the favorite to represent the NFC in the SB at this point in the season.

Who do you have in the NFC...

Bears 1-1
49ers 2-0
Seattle 1-1
St. Louis 0-2
Detroit 2-0
Green Bay 2-0
Philly 0-1

Nobody there the Cowboys can't beat.

Cowboys will kill them. Grossman will throw 14 interceptions and fumble 8 snaps. Then he will trip over a gum wrapper on his way to the bench and tear his ACL. Benson will tip-toe around like the little girl he is and get hammered all day by the Dallas D.

I agree. Al Harris is a good CB, but he wont have the speed to keep up with Owens!:D

Even though I am a Cowboys fan. I'm going to have to take Chicago in this one. If Trent Green was even a decent QB, the game would have been a little different yesterday. Green overthrew, under threw and completely missed a ton of wide open Miami receivers. And as crazy as it sounds, Rex Grossman is a better QB than Green.

Combined with the legitimate Bears defense thats a bad combination for Dallas IMO.

Don't forget that Newman and Ellis could be back this week. That will help the defense tremendously!:D

I think it will be low scoring, and Romo will do what he does best, make plays.

Chicago has got a great defense but absolutely no offense and a terrible QB that everyone besides the coach has lost faith in. Cowboys win a close one 13-3

the bears offense is..well...offensive! they stink! i think they have scored (1) count it ONE offensive touchdown this year. the cowboys win this one 31-9..hester wont even return one for a score this week...mark it down..put it in a freezer bag and freeze it.

Make Grossman look bad - ok, that's easy - make him play especially bad. It will be a great game - and thankfully not 8 degrees.

As opposed to Brodie Croyle/Damon Huard? Huard has grey hair dude and I'm not even kidding. If that joke of a team in Kansas City can remain within 10 and striking distance late in the game, the Cowboys sure can.

Tank can't play until Nov. 11, but we may get Newman and 1 other back this week.

Is Greg Ellis the name you were looking for?

When Ellis and Newman are back out there starting, this defense will look totally different then these first two weeks. We aren't getting that great of a pass rush because teams are doubling up on Ware since Ellis isn't in the line-up. When he does return, they wont be able to double both of them, so expect a more consistent pass rush. When Newman is back... well... do I have to say more? I will anyways. He is a shut down corner without the flashy interception numbers. He doesn't get them because QBs don't throw his way very often, because of his outstanding coverage abilities. If these two guys play, or if at least one of them plays, then the defense will look 5 times better already. Dallas will take this game picking off Grossman a couple times. Cowboys will be 3-0.

The Cowboys offense vs the Bears defense is a toss-up. The cowboys defense vs the bears offense is clear advantage cowboys.

Also throw in this for some thought: Cowboys signed Tank Johnson who, although hasn't practiced in a while, knows A LOT about how the Bears defense operates. I guarantee you they have been pumping him for information all week long.

I wouldn't doubt it. Kind of coincidental that they bring him in the week before the game against Chicago don't you think? Good idea by the Cowboys organization. Let's go 'Boys, take it to Da Bears!!

The Bears did get a new defensive coordinator, who just so happened to change the way things are run. A lot more blitzes, different packages, etc. Look for Urlacher to be in Romo's grill.

Yeah but Tank may be able to tell them a few things like players' tendencies, and other stuff they don't pick up on film.

Romo ain't Bledsoe, he can move and throw. Blitz and suffer the consequences. I see a lot of quick slants for big gains with the linebackers blitzing.:D

Ellis has been gone so long, it will be like getting a midseason pick-up, ala MLB. He brings great leadership and intensity. It should be interesting.

Yeah I can't wait for his return to the defense. They need his leadership and run stopping abilities.

The Bears are terrible. Don't get too excited about the Cowboys yet. They are playing well. O-line has to get better in 1st half play. Defense still has to improve.
