from what i hear of curtis they run most of the time. so considering Longview has a good enough defense to at least slow them down and the fact they are driving 7-8 hrs and staying in a hotel I say Longview should win. I think Longview will try ande hit the homerun a few times early and get up and if they do they will keep that lead.

I think Longview gets the key win this week over a good JC team I think it will be a close one at half and then Longview puts it away in 2nd half 31-21 the reason why longview wins is because with it being at home and longview having good experince from lufkin game it should be a good game but like i said Longview pulls it out 31-21 Go Lobos

Curtis has played two pretty solid 5A programs this year and a decent 4A team leading into this clash Saturday...They will be ready-I hope...

I doubt any of those teams on the same page with a Lufkin though..

That being said....You can only play the game scheduled that week...

Louisiana sucks in football.Don't believe the mangie swamp rat.:D Actually Curtis is a very fundamental team that runs the veer option. I have a highlight tape of theirs from a few years ago. Very good team with some good athletes.

TAPPS football and it's top teams struggle against quality programs in larger classifications. See Plano Prestonwood against Shiloh Christian in Arkansas a few weeks ago and against Celina last week.
Maybe kermit is goignto Houston to watch St Pius play for the first time ;)

i just know we have beaten some of the best LA teams since 2001. We lost to very good ECA team in 01' and then beat them the next 4 years. WE beat the 2005 LA class 5a champs in WM. WE also beat Neville and Monroe Oauchita in there a few times as well. Lost to WM last year and we werent very good but I dont guess they were either. Neville gave us some dang good games and I know they were highly ranked in LA those years.

Not sure how that matters in this game but I feel good about our chances in this game nonetheless.
