Apparently Churchill QB Nick Fanuzzi (did I spell that right?) went out sometime in the first half due to an injury. Roosevelt took the win 18-17. Just makes you wonder, though I still think Roosevelt deserves this win. How long will Nick be out?

im not sure if we would of won that if he hadnt gone down its great we won but i hate seeing a good play go down

what happend it was on there first drive i bleive it was about the 5 or 6th play we were about to start playing a song when CH snapped and fanuzzi ran a keeper to the right and i belice it was our corner that read it hit him on the left shoulder and he went down it didnt look that hard but it was hard to see that from the otherside of the field i hope he is ok

Yeah, I heard this morning he was injured on the first series....so none of the 17 pts were scored on Nick.

Hopefully he won't be out long but this loss will no doubt impair Churchill greatly.

Well, we should beat Lee, and I think the TR-RR game should be pretty good....and we may have a good shot at Churchill.

yeah it should all of them im just worried about next game TR - JR but this year we are home so we have a slight advantage and if i ever find out of judsons WR is out for the game i will be a little happier but if he is in when we play them i think were screwed :rolleyes:

Roosevelt doesn't seem to attract large crowds though.....so homefield may not affect too much. And Judson always has a decent turnout.

whats up guys, yeah i hurt Fanuzzi on that play, i hit him pretty hard, but our coaches all they preached was how strong he was and all that so i thought he would be fine, i was shocked when he didnt get up, but yeah im glad we came out with the win...man it was a good game

well we really do seem to get a god croud when we play judson just because they are one of our rivals lol it doesnt seem like it used to be but i bet we will have a pretty good crowed for this game

ha i thot churchill had somethin goin when they beat SV but i guess 26-5A is all topsy turvy man. it kinda looks like the NFL right now, come on Redskins 3-0!???? then the bengals 4-0!!???? yeah and then the whole valley loses to churchill but beats judson, and churchill loses to roosevelt...wow

I told you all this was gonna be a better yaer for the Skins but nooooooo. And I also said Reagan would look better. They've already tied their winning record from last year!

But Churchill scored all their points with the abscence of Fanuzzi so Churchill can't really say that the abscence of him really affected it, while it did, they showed they can score without him.

next year churchhill is going to be good but yeah i think we need to watch the mavs the banged us up a bit but good jobs guys just watch out next year

Believe me Fanuzzi would have made the difference in a 1 point game.Churchills 1st Td against SV was Fanuzzi running from 45 yards out.He`s big,and elusive,and oh yeah Fast!He`a little like the QB that won 2 state titles at Denton Ryan in 02,and 03.
