Yes Sloan is out, but it looks like the Owls have some other players. :)

I heard at the game he ws eligible for the South game, but I also heard not till next week.....who knows.
Also, he does play RB, but he is being recruited as a DB, #15 DB on Rivals.com, or so I heard. Heard he committed to LSU. But we haven't seen him yet. May be a phantom!!!!
The transfer offensive lineman, Kennedy, from Rusk, 6'3" 300 lbs., played for the first time at Naaman. They put him in the third drive and he played the rest of the game, even during the mop-up time. They apparently wanted him to get reps in the offense during game situations. I'm not sure of the level of his competition on the Naaman squad, but he looked pretty dominant. Didn't see anyone he blocked make a play.

Does anyone know the NAME of the transfer?
I watched Kennedy some, and he looked quick and active. Seems he replaced Brummet some, but I think they were both in from time to time.

I talked to im and jeremy said he will be starting next week at right guard in place of stubbs.... the tought of jeremy and buddy on the same side seems very pleasant.
I think when stubbs gets back he should be moved to quick guard for size reasons. When you play against those playoff teams you gotta have some size up front. You saw what happend against carter.

If Garland can utilize it's talent they have a chance. The QB has a decent, if not solid, arm. God knows about Garland's skill players!! The RB situation goes without saying!
THey need to find their confidence in beating some solid squads.
If so they'll be ready come playoff time!
