why? why is there a need to key our cars? why is there a need to embarss yourselves, wait, not only your selves but your school?? ive never seen fans act more idiotic then yours. i can understand the whole school spirt, you guys just take it to the next level. your team, shows a lot of class, such as waiting for us to finsih our alma matter at the end then go shake hands again and what not, to bad that cant carry over to the fans. im glad we pounded you guys, just to see you guys suffer, usually i dont like when we totally beat down teams, because their fans are respectful, but you guys arent. NO CLASS what so ever, im sure there are a few of you guys who have class, but for the most part theres not many. a kid, came to OUR side with a sign that said "quit paying the refs" this kid had to be high as kite, all the calls were against us, the renfro pass interferance wtf? explain that one to me please. i was just sooo fed up with those fans. who ever designed that stadium wasnt htinking clearly either, to put all the parking on one side, and enterance on one side, it was like they were trying to get fights to happen.

That's a shame when crap like that happens. "Gee, we lost, they have better cars than us and their richer than us, so lets go key their cars, cause I'm sure they can buy another one!". But this sort of act is despicable. There is NOTHING that justifies this.

Even I fear bringing certain cars to games....even at Comalander (that's one of 26-5A's stadiums)...only place I feel really safe bringing a "nice car" to would be the Reagan campus.

If you have specific complaints about damage to cars, I strongly suggest that you contact the GV police department. This message board will not do you much good. I would certainly be one CCHS fan/parent that would support any prosecution of vandalism.

being in the band has advantages, your car wont get keyed cause you take a bus to away games, and if its a home game you park on the home side, why the people that designed mustang-panther didnt make 2 seperate parking lots, i have no idea..

Yup, there was a reason that my family crammed into a small car and drove to the game...it is the only car without a Dragon sticker on it. Pathetic Class of the fans I must say.

Your comments come off as being unsuported by actual criminal behavior. I suggest that if something occurred, that it be taken to the police. If this did not happen, posting these type of comments on a public forum is not real cool.

after we won state last year, and my parents friends cars startred getting keyed, we took the dragon stickers off the cars, didnt want anything getting ruined because of that. i hope CHHS fans, gey chewed out by their parents, school officals, etc etc, i dont know how you can get away for acting like that, i know we were told (band) to stay classy and if we didnt wed get in trouble and what not, they warned us about it, most of us knew, but hte few who didnt

The atmoshere was great at the start of the game, but turned ugly when the C?HHS fans boo'ed the Carroll Alma Martar. I was very pleased when the Carroll fans cheered when the CHHS Alma Marter was played. It also felt good when the Dragons scored the first 7 points with only 40 seconds played in the game.

I do not get too riled up about fans behaviour but, the CHHS fans at the start of the game was un called for. Most of the kids from Carroll do lots of things with the kids from CHHS so there was a lot of good natured bantering but nothing excuses the boo'ing of the school song.

The teams played hard and well and showed a lot of class between them. Good game played by the players but not a lot of class showed by the CHHS fans. It it was only a few that can be overlooked but when the entire CHHS stands boo's during the school song, that is wrong.

I too was dissapointed with total lack of respect by "some" of the colleyville fans. A healthy rivalry is one thing, but the actions of "some" of the fans tear down the credibility of your school real quick. Along with all the other complaints already mentioned in this thread and a few others, I haven't read anything about the whistle. Throughout the entire game during SLC's offensive series there was someone blowing a whistle just before or just after the snap. Too bad all this reflects on the kids working their butts off on the field. If you want a respected and admired program you need to act respectable.

I had heard the stories about cars with Dragon stickers on them getting keyed when they were parked at Mustang-Panther Stadium. That's why I was so happy when Carroll ISD offered the free shuttle from Dragon Stadium to MP Stadium. The Booing when the Carroll Band played the Alma Mater Song was unbelievable. Talk about classless. I set w/ a friend whose daughter is in the CHS band and her daughter told her that the CHS band was booed when they first go to the stadium. The band getting booed? I've been to many rivalry games on alot bigger scale than CHS vs. CHHS(Army/Navy, Michigan/OSU, Nebraska/OU) but I've never seen a teams band getting booed. When the Carroll side clapped after the CHHS AA, that was cool. And on the 3 play,65 yard drive that took 50 seconds, that was a perfect start to silence the home team.

Precisely why I was cheering on the Dragons. I never liked Colleyville and never will. Carroll is well represented at this board because the posters of their school are nice people.

I'll never forget the last time we played them in football, we were winning 26-15 with about 3 minutes left and we were 4-0. They came back and won, and it ended our season really. Their fans all ran onto the field and stuff like they had just knocked off the top ranked team in the state, and did things like moon our students and stuff. The whole game they kept doing dumb chants and coming to our side and trying to cause trouble. Then we played them deep in the basketball playoffs later on that year and luckily for them it was at their own high school, so the whole game they kept throwing ice over to our side each time they scored.

That just makes me mad. Yeah to be mad for losing is one thing but Heritage lost to a great team. SLC doesnt deserved to be booed. Theyve earned what they got( that being recognized as a great team) it was not given to them. Keying the cars of SLC fans is just a punk move. Booing the song.....WOW just plain disrespectful. That makes me mad just to be in district with a team like that.

the poor chhs fans haven't been able to buy their kids a championship, and it's upsetting. they are clueless as to what actually is required of a winner to be successful. this behavior is expected of them, and will likely continue. the best predicter of future performance is prior behavior. they are proof, if one needs it, that money doesn't buy happiness, or class.

the band got booed as we were going in? id belive it, anything that represents carroll that night got booed, belive it or not we get booed (the band) almost every game, during halftime, at DS as we march along the back people say so much crap, every game we get booed or something thrown at us, or something stupid like that.

It did seem like the CHHS team had some respect for the Dragons..after the game they waited for the Carroll band to quit playing the Alma Mater, then came out to mid field for a post game prayer with Carroll....just some immature fans...

That is just plain disrespectful. It's pathetic. I dont understand booing a team because they are better than you. It doesn't make any sense. I could understand if SLC was taunting them or something like that but booing even if the other team is taunting is classless. They are just mad because SLC is winning stuff and they're not. Cant wait to play SLC on Oct 13.

We are starting to put things together. After HP we had to do something. We start off a little slow though in the first half of games. Hopefully we'll have that fixed by SLC.

Yeah Flo is a great coach and so is Dodge. SLC is still rollin even after losing some key players. You are a lot bigger than us too. That could come into play.

Carroll is very deep this year..Coach Dodge has been usiing waves of players all season from the beginning of the games....conditioning is always a problem for Carroll opponents, but this year even more I suspect...

Having read most of the threads re: SLC/CHHS, and having attended the game, I am very disappointed in the poor sportsmanship, lack of civility displayed by too many CHHS fans, and the extraordinarily poor officiating. Love good competition and rivalry, but give me a break. One lady (?) was dressed in a costume and conducted herself in a manner that did in fact liken her to a clown…most appropriate for too many of both young and older CHHS attendees. For the record: 1) Not that it really matters except to correct some misconceptions, Southlake is not more affluent that C’ville…check out the "per capita"; 2) poor sportsmanship that goes well beyond traditional standards of TX civility is truly sad and totally unacceptable under any circumstance; and, CHHS players played well and demonstrated the highest degree of sportsmanship. Suggest some their fans learn a lesson, if they are in fact trainable. Too many need to be informed of TX standards concerning civility. This is not the “Left Coast” or “Uppa U.S.” ..they are in NTX. SLC fans had every reason to be most unhappy with several of the calls the officials made. They were terrible! Fortunately, SLC fans had the class not to vent their disappoint in ignorant displays against the opposing team that belittled both the SLC team and community. BTW, same crew officiated another recent SLC game and demonstrated gross ineptness. Believe UIL needs to give these guys a good hard look before they cost some deserving team a key loss with their incompetetness. “A tip of the hat” to the many “class” CHHS fans. To the small underside…wise up!

Nice post...the worst thing about the officiating crew is the fact that they lost control of the game & that is when kids get hurt...they were the same crew as the Plano East game & as you pointed out they were pitiful then ..I know the officials have a thankless job but I also know most of them attend workshops & take pride in what they do..this particular crew needs to go back to school, & show a little pride ..

A lot of us know people who's cars were keyed...they make everyone park in the same lot..it's been happening for a while, you get the police involved and they can't really do anything unless you have a witness & who has seen someone keying a car? It's why a lot of us now take the shuttle from Dragon Stadium which is about a 1/4 mile away...
