Nance for Trinity had close to 300 yards of total offense this Friday. 175 rushing 50 receiving, and 68 on a kickoff return he came very close to running back for a hundred. Handy also had over a hundred. :)

Katy's Brandon King, 7 carries - 188 yds, 3 TD's.
Most of that was in 2nd qtr. - 3 carries - 133 yds, 3 TD's.
It was against a woeful opponent, though.

mcelroy did awesome..oh wait hes not a running back buttttttt he looked like a speedster against CHHS, had some nice moves in the pocket, and while scarmbling, tre newton should have some more yardage, got some BIG runs called back, a GREAT day for the dragon rushing attack

That Foster Whittaker (I think thats his name) was the best RB of the Lake-Pearland game and the only offensive player to show up all game. I also think he's only a junior and he was all-state as a sophomore (correct me if im wrong). All I know is that I saw a Sam Houston St. Rep over in our stands, I don't know who he was there to see but I guarantee Foster was at least on his list.

3 of the metromess's best were working on their dance moves this week rather than their spin moves, as they weren't suited up. those pesky team rules and npnp.

I think the "Lane Train" will come blowin out of the station pretty soon...I know he's better than Melton of Texas, whos getting some touches...

Uhhh that game bugged me. I drove down this weekend and it was a good game but Baylor simply could not convert once we entered the redzone. There was also the great play where Reggie through the ball and it bounced off 2 of our db's chests. Personally I wasn't that impresed with Reggie but I'm not sure if thats because the starting recievers are out. Baylor would have one the game if they had kicked a field goal on 1st down many times when they were in the redhzone instead of going three downs and ending up having 4th and goal on the 27 yardline.

Henry Melton weighs 270 and Lane weighs about 255, but Henry Melton looks solid as a rock at 270. Lane looks pretty fat, and out of shape. I'm not saying one is better than the other, i'm just saying what i see when i see both of them.

so has there ever been a worse timed human-interest piece in any paper anywhere than the tripe that the dmn had about em and his uncle? i've heard of baseball players getting themselves run off of hs baseball teams so as to protect their careers/arms but never a football player. what a total embarassment for all concerned. gotta give the cowboy coach some credit for having the cahones to fire his offense. let's see if it sticks.

RR Stony Points Cameron Bell ran for 318 yards on 35 carries as Stony Point snaps their 22 game losing streak. Hes mentioned as one of hte best junior backs in the state according to Dave Campbells and this site. Hes 6'1" 210 with mid 4.5 speed. Look out for him next year.

This is too Leanderlion3033, Lane does not weigh 255, never has. He has lots of pads that make him look much bigger that he is. You need to see him in street clothes and you would see for yourself. And as for as out of shape, they all said that for the last two years and all he did was take games over and win. 40 TDs last year and over 1900 yds rushing. He weighs 235 just so you will know and never been out of shape. He will need more conditioning at A&M and he will get that, they will see to it, he,s only 18.

Vondrell McGee has been, and continues to be my best rb in the state. 12 carries for 244 is sick. It's one thing to run through gaping holes - ala Trinity - McGee runs over, through and past people. His line is is good, but certainly not dominant.

Trinity does not necesarrily make gaping holes. Nance and Handy make it through the line, and dance and sidestep defenders. it is amazing to watch. One of them left a defender in his kock in the open field Friday nite.

Andre Pierce from Rowlett H.S. is the leading rusher in the state thru six games with over 1,200 yards. Friday night against North Garland he rushed 18 times for 175 yards and didn't play in THE SECOND HALF! Congratulations Andre and the Eagles on a great start.....

Besides the 345 yds rushing on 26 carries Stephens does what he is known for equally as well in the game, catching the football. Here he makes a pressure TD catch on 4th and goal to put his team on top.

His freshman year he was nothing but a butterball, no muscle at all. Now he's a freakin beast, I guess we can give credit to the Madison staff for doing that. :D

ya, and it looked to me like he played second fiddle to one of the green boys (i dont know that for a fact). how come he didnt have a full time running job at madison? looks like he's got one at hays, and getting it done.
