John Broussard, scored in the Jaguars first game of the season from a pass from David Garrad. He actually got 11 fantasy points.

Here is his bio from San Jose State website-

AT SAN JOSE STATE: Wide receiver and kickoff return specialist who is a proven "big-play" threat... has 13 plays (seven receptions and six kickoffs) of 40 yards or longer as a Spartan...three-time letterwinner enters the 2006 season with at least one pass reception in 22 consecutive games covering two San Jose State seasons...among the San Jose State career leaders in number of kickoffs returned and kickoff return yardage.

2005: Had his most productive season of pass receiving with 26 receptions for 361 yards and five touchdowns...had the second best TD receiving total on the team...produced his first two- touchdown receiving game of his college career in the 26-18 win over Idaho... 90-yard touchdown reception in the Boise State game matched the third longest pass play in school history.

2004: Team leader and 52nd nationally in all-purpose running with his 115.2 yards per game average...third on the team in receptions with 20...one touchdown catch was a 67-yard play that ignited a comeback from a 27-point second-quarter deficit en route to a 70-63 win over Rice...notched his first major college 100-yard receiving game with 131 yards on two receptions against Rice.

2003: 20th nationally in kickoff return average at 25.0 per return...one of four WAC players to return a kickoff for a touchdown in 2004 with a 95-yard scoring dash against Nevada...caught five passes and returned two kickoffs.

AT KINGWOOD HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach Ken Herring) and track at Kingwood (Texas) High School..set eight school football records...was an all-Houston metro and an honorable mention all-state pick for class 5A schools by "Dave Campbell’s Texas Football...finished his career with 69 receptions for 1,450 yards and 22 touchdowns.

JOHN: His older brother, Jamall Broussard, a two-year starter at San Jose State, finished his career with 117 receptions, is on the Miami Dolphins 2006 preseason roster...born in Kingwood, Texas, and will turn 23-years-old after the 2006 regular season.

If any of you remember correctly, Coach Herring was the coach there when Kingwood made it to the playoffs almost every year.

Sorry bro, i didnt notice this thread when you originally posted it.

Yeah i remember him... He gave Humble all sorts of fits while he was there.

That and a certain running back, i can't remember his name though. Pretty good, not fantastic...but considering Kingwood isnt known for excellent skill position talent...he stood out.
