Cove wins because of superior talent, speed, coaching and also it is homecoming :D . On top of that Temple is down. Although anything can happen I don't think it will in this case. Cove wins big!!

I'm just in from the Temple/Belton game, Belton wins 14-7 in a game where
neither team played well at all. Temple's TD was via int. return. Temple's offense is the worst I've seen in quit some time. If was truly awful. I would really think that Cove could name the score in this one.....

I still say the DAWGS win by 50+ even with the second string in the entire second half. The only thing that can stop the DAWGS is themselves, comming off such an emotional week, if they can emotionaly get up for this game, its over by the first quarter.
Back up QB Griffin gets to work on his passing game in this one.

Belton seems to be going downhill fast, looked great 3 weeks ago vs Abilene, and last night, well they were not very good. Clock management is a hugh problem for them, QB will not check off plays. Defense is about the only stronge point I can see now, they do swarm to the ball carrier

This game should go to Cove all the way. I see the reserves getting a lot of playing time, especially Griffin who needs to start fine tuning his skill for the big time if he is going to step up and fill the shoes Garner will leave behind after the season. Griffin has the ability to be good, but damn hold on to the ball and hit your targets. He can throw the ball a long way, only problem is its usually 20 yards past the receiver.

Cove will be 6-0 after this one.

Judson is the only good team that we have played so far, A&M Consolidated will be the toughest of our district and I really dont see a problem beating them. The real challenges will be after the 1st round in the playoffs.

i got temple to win in ot, haha jk cove is gonna dominate there bigger stronger faster better coached and have more talent than temple. However if belton is really soooo good this year temple only lost 14-7. Not saying temple even has a chance but they might be able to only lose by 3 touchdowns

I don't think Temple is better just Belton is not as good as some think they are. Remember this is essentially the same team that was 0-10 last year.

They have a little more experience, just a little... They wont make the postseason. Its gonna be the Dawgs, AMC and i think now Bryan.. Tough call for third.. Big game this week in 13-5a is AMC-Shoemaker.

yea friday will be a big game with us vs shoemaker,we've got to overcome a huge obstacle as our starting runningback who was a unanimous 1st team all district player last year as a sophmore has failed,but with the new quarterback and great reciever we have we still have a good team

he'll be back in two games... truth be told, you have other running backs that are pretty darn good. macmurry, orozco, gay...

one player doesn't make a team. I believe he'll come back with an axe to grind and a point to prove. no worries.

I've known this kid since he was in the 5th grade. I'm pretty sure this spanish 2 class is the first one he's ever failed (and not by much). Not sure what happened, but he and his older brother have always done well in school. His parents will be rather tough on him I can assure you. And, the best I can tell, he's the only varsity player that got hit with grades at AMC. It's a shame, but I'm sure he'll learn a valuable lesson.
