And on top of that, partying!

Haha, well, it's not really what you think....it was my niece's birthday and since her and her mom live in Devine , they came up to San Antonio and I think the closest Chuck E. Cheese's was on the Southside....

Haha, really! She lives in Devine and it was her third birthday. and I guess the closest Chuck E. Cheese is on the south side of SA. But seriously...I've never seen more "My Little Pony" stuff in my life....

Wow...I saw at halftime it was 17-6....i figured Churchill had it in the bag....how did it become 18 though? 2 TDs and no extra points or just a buncha field goals?

yea lol at halftime i even had my doubt. but in scoring we made 4 FGs. and in the 4th quarter with a lil over a minute left we scored a TD and tryed to get the two point conversion. but we didnt make it. so it came to be 18-17. it was WC's ball with 41 seconds left on the clock. well, they threw a pass and we intercepted it. from there the clock time ran out and we had ourselves our first district victory.

Wow.....quite a game....I was pretty sure when I saw the scoreboard that Churchill had it. But is it true Fanuzzi (Churchill's QB) went down? Churchill's season goes down with him....

Ah, we had that problem.....but my hat is off to the rough riders though...you all held them scoreless in the second half.

Say it isn't so about Finuzzi? I would hate to see the young man go down again. He's a lot of fun to watch.

I was kinda excited as well....but if Fanuzzi goes down, so does Churchill. I was lookin' forward to watching him...but, looking at this as something else...it helps the other schools.

I agree that it will make it easier for the rest of the district but from a stand point of watching good football he is fun to watch. He has great comand of the game and that will be missed from a purist stand point.

It gives hope to other teams in the district....but i know i dont want any players really injured....and a kid like him has a chance to go far in football with his talent. Its really a shame to see the very talented players getting injured and possibly ending their football careers early.

I agree. I hate to see it happen. I enjoy watching the games and when you see a kid with his talent, it's fun to watch. Hopefully it's not season ending.

Heck, the poor guy hasn't played a full season....maybe in his freshman year i think. But he was a tailback then...

But yeah, I hate seeing injuries...but they happen. Shame Churchill doesn't have someone like Toudouze (backup form last year) to help the team out.

Should make for a better Reagan-Churchill rivalry game! Better bring the sunscreen though...a nice 2 o'clock kickoff....

I also heard that Marshall's QB went down tonight also. Don't know how bad.

Ironically...he went down against Churchill....and its the same night Fanuzzi's out as well.

Maybe Esamilla(Marshall) and Fanuzzi aren't as bad as we're talking. But being out for just a few weeks can really screw you up.
