Folks this is a real scrappy bunch of good football players. They had us (Trinity) 14-0 before our offense touched the ball. We woke up and put the stompin on them after that. These guys will get better just watch!!! :D

congrats on the win Gritty.....yall probably felt like we did when Mesquite Horn marched down about 75 yards with ease and put it in the endzone to start the game...we punted, and they started marching the ball down, again!! i said, "uh, oh, these boys came to play"....and then we got to 52 pretty fast, but that's beside the point......i totally agree with you on Nimitz......i had them finishing 3rd, as well........MacArthur looks like the real deal...............

I don't think this is possible, the Vikings are not a well rounded team. They have one player really, David Watkins. Their wins have all come against below-average teams at best, With Lewisville sitting at 0-5 I believe, Lamar at 1-4 and W.T. White at 1-4 also I think. They got a bit lucky last night and proved, like against SGP, that they can't bring it for 48 minutes. Watkins can only do so much. Do they even have a passing game worth mentioning?

A game isn't easy when it takes 4th quarter fumbles & injuring half of the other team's starters.

I think that Nimitz won't have much of a problem against Coppell. The only district game I see Coppell winning at this point is vs Grand Prairie.

And also if Coppell isn't a very good team then I assume after last week game nor is 5-0 Irving Mac who is highly ranked in the DFW area. Have you seen Coppell play? If not please do not comment because looking at boxscores doesn't say how the game played out.
