What a game and I feel sorry for the kicker from N Mesquite, missed a field goal that could have won the game and missed one in OT. A good kicker just nervous, I guess.

sorry to hear that, guys---keep your heads up, regardless.....NM has a rich tradition and respect from the football community.....good luck the rest of the way.....if it makes you feel any better, we got them back for yall last week at the tune of 48-0....................

I'm just hoping at the end of this regular season when the Lobos come to town they rest all of their starters against us so the score doesn't look like that! You guys have a fantastic team this year and I'll be pulling for y'all to go all the way. Mesquite didn't have their starting QB for the Longview game, but I don't think it would have mattered much. It looks like a special year for Longview. Enjoy the ride! ;)

thanks brother for the props----as for our game against each other, it not over until it's over, right?? i don't ever count anyone out....i've seen some crazy things happen in this sport during my life?? especially, in highschool football....good luck to you guys..................

It wasn't that much tough loss and I already knew Mesquite was going to win though...

Just like you knew Lee was going to win against Rockwall? It's easy to say you knew Mesquite would win AFTER the game was played.

I will admit, I did vote for Lee to win the Rockwall game, and I honestly thought they would. I jsut knew it wouldn't be a blowout everyone was predicting. And, I felt that if Rockwall came to play, they could pull off the upset. They came to play, and they stepped up when they needed to. My hat goes off to the Jackets for beating Lee. But, I can't say that it wasn't expected really. I think several people on here were quietly waiting for it to happen, like me. You can't tell me you're not worried about the game on Thursday Red? I am worried, but probably not as much as what Lee is. They're fighting for their district lives probably.
