Lufkin has been defeated at home twice since the year 2000. The two teams to beat them? Shrevport Evangel and Tyler Lee. The quarterbacks? John David Booty and Matt Flynn. Their teams now? USC and LSU. USC and LSU's rank? #1 and #2.

Moral of the story, you better have a damn good quarterback to beat Lufkin @ home:p .

That's interesting. Both QBs were also on the guest list for Evangel/LSU football player Jacob Hester's recent wedding. Flynn was there, but Booty had a final exam that conflicted allegedly.

I hope the two finally get to meet at the end of this season. :)
