I know they were up big early and coasted, but the retooled front seven looked very shaky tonight despite looking good on paper.

I think the defense is in trouble against the big boys.

Rutgers will coast until Maryland. That game will let us know if they're top 10-15 good again or not.

Ray Rice...he's nice.

Damn, didn't get to see the game tonight since I was at the Katy game.

Did they look that bad defensively? They're young (especially in the secondary), I know that. How did Foster look at DT?

Pasqualoni getting canned at Syracuse was a big part of it. He was a 3-star kid out of high school when Schiano and Rutgers were first starting to make some noise, so he wasn't a blue chip guy or anything.

Ray Rice was dominant in HS, but he's from NY and people don't come here to recruit unless you're breaking national records like Mike Hart did.

The scouting services don't give high ratings to any kids in this area of NY even though we have the most state titles of all the sections (districts) by a land slide.

Matt Featherston, LB at Texas A&M was a zero star kid. He went to an all-star game in Georgia or something and finally got in front of someones face and the Aggies offered him on the spot.

Nobody knows anything about New York kids. It's terrible. Why do you think D3 football in NY is so strong....half of them are D1 kids if Syracuse actually recruited or there was another D1 program in the state (Buffalo doesnt count yet).
