We had our draft last night. I have been in the same league for 11 years now and act as commissioner.

Who is your best player?

I will start by saying I drew the number 1 domino, so former TCU Hornfrog Ladainian Tomlinson is in my backfield along with former Longhorn Cedric Benson!:D :D :D

10 teams. I drafted #4 in the league where I have Gore and Johnson. I got Gore at #4 and Brady at #16. I was so happy he was still available. I then got Rudi Johnson in the 3rd round at #24:D . Surprising that he fell that deep into the draft.

The other league also has 10 teams. I drafted #8 in that draft.

Really!?!? You'd think that people would realize that you don't draft a WR before the third round. Or a QB that's not Peyton Manning before the second.

My league does 6 points/TD no matter rushing or throwing so QB's are a little more valuable.

Other than that it is pretty standard scoring with 1 QB, 2 RB's, 3 WR's, and either a 4th WR or 3rd RB, with a TE.

in my first fantasy game (ever, at that) I got beat 100-94. Yeah...I was pissed...if Cedric Benson had only done something worthwhile.:rolleyes:

I lost my first game as well. The guy I was playing lucked out so much. He didn't draft a defense and picked up the Bengals, which ended up being 20% of his points. Then he played Jason Hanson the kicker for Detroit. Another 20%. When Jerious Norwood got injured he picked up Tatum Bell off of waiver wires and lo and behold he has a 3rd guy have a career high. Another 10%. That wouldn't be the end of his reign of ********. He also played Lamont Jordan for 15% more of his points. 65% of his points right there. Infuriating to say the least.

I lost 80-79 last week. The guy that I was playing got lucky with Adrian Peterson (22 points). I ended up killing myself when I started Vince Young over Ben Roethlisberger. Big Ben had 22 points while VY only had 9. This week doesn't look to good for me. I play against Addai and Portis.

Yeah man, tell me about it. I probably won't even watch my team tommorow because of how bad it could be. I think its gonna be embarassing.

I actually won my game last week 83-71 with all those injuries and most of my key players out. Ben Roethlisberger (15 points) and Santonio Holmes (24 points) really helped me out. What screwed my opponent was the fact that he played Brian Westbrook who didn't play, Javon Walker, who didn't play, and his kicker Josh Scobee who was on a bye this week and is injured anyways so that really helped.

Of my original top 12 draft picks (we play a defensive unit, kicker, and individual defensive player so I didn't feel the need to mention those):

Brian Westbrook - abdominal strain, out one game so far
Marc Bulger - broken ribs, 3 OL injured, starting RB injured
Deuce McAlister - season ending ACL tear, out the rest of the season
Marshawn Lynch - has had a good season so far, not injured
Ahman Green - injured, but i'm not sure the exact reason
Hines Ward - injured, sat out one game
LJ Smith - injured the whole season, limited playing time
Brandon Jackson - injured (concussion), limited playing time
Bernard Berrian - no injuries, QB has switched but that's a good thing
Isaac Bruce - no injuries to him, but other wr, qb, rb, and 3 ol injured
Brandon Jones - no injuries
JP Losman - injured, out one game so far

Only 4 of my original top 12 haven't been injured. Only 5 haven't missed playing time.

I absolutely got smashed this week. i got killed by Brady. My opponent had alot of players from the Patriots and Cowboys. I am gonna lose bad! I am losing 96-47 and my opponent has the Giants D left to play.
