These new announcers are beyond Lame. I miss Howard, Frank and Don. Not only are they Head and Shoulders above this Crop, the games back then were certainly better and much more entertaining. In my opinion. I know I am showing my age, but come on. There ratings have to be in the tank and these new guys are in the weeds. Lets hope this season is a Stellar one.

Actually the ratings last year where higher than they were on ABC in recent years. ESPN's Monday Night Football also has something like 7 or 8 of the 10 biggest audiences in cable television history.

Thanks for the response. Ratings for cable are always smaller than network TV. More people have Rabbit ears than cable boxes I guess. Anyway here are 2006 numbers from Neilsen. Obviously a steady decline.
