But no as close as that. The Baylor offense will not put up 24 on the Frogs.

41-3 = too lopsided
28-24 = too close
27-13 = just right

The spread is TCU -20.5... I say Baylor covers the spread...now if we win is another question...I say that we keep it close until late in the fourth, TCU wins late...it kills me to say that, but we have way too many question marks. I will be there this weekend...who else will be there??

Not even close, the Frogs are loaded and Vegas knows it. Sept 8, they shock the world and are 2-0 with wins over Baylor and Texas. Doesn't sound right, but it will happen. Gary Patterson has built a machine.

Take off the goggles... There is a much better chance that TCU goes 0-2 than 2-0 to start the season...One major problem that they have...they are overlooking us...the football team has been wearing BEAT TEXAS shirts at practice....upset brewing??

OK, they got there "overlooking" lesson two years ago. As I said before, Patterson has built a machine. BU shouldn't even be in the Big12. And wouldn't if it had not been politicized. Too much turmoil in Waco for a winning effort.

Based on what?? If you look at overall athletic prowess...last season Baylor finished 5th in the Big XII...so where do you get your information....go back to worrying about high school sports before you jump into the college game

Thats the misconception with many about Baylor. They don't realize the overall strength of Baylors athletic program. Thye have finished ahead of the Ags numerous times since the inception of the Big 12 in overall athletics.

Seems I am not the only one thinking things ain't that good on the Brazos:

but most of all, BU is a 6.5-7 pt underdog.

I've said before, that this could very well happen. Although, I didn't say it would, but, I believe the game between the Horns and the Frogs will be decided by 7 points.

The Horns/Frogs matchup has the potential to be one of the best games of the year.

Again... you are just making a fool of yourself...if you make a claim that Baylor should be "kicked" out of the big 12...you need to look at all sports, not one poll for football... since you lack basic reading skills....go take some remedial courses at your high school

Honestly I see this as a low scoring game... both offenses are a bit shaky, hence...both D's should be able to dominate...I think 7-13 points is a reasonable margin of victory

It is a fact that Ann Richards was a driving force for the inclusion of Baylor in the Big 12. It is also a fact that the two are within 3% of each other in the Directors Cup standings for last year, with BU at 38th and TCU at 52nd. This was out of 284 schools.

This is a deep seeded emotional issue that pre-dates your birth. But I love your passion. Keep on believing..........

You just proved yourself wrong with the directors cup argument. I am not disputing the fact that Ann Richards wanted Baylor in the Big XII...also, this has nothing to do with believing, so I don't know where you picked that up from. Furthermore, this does not predate my birth, the Big XII was formed when I was 10, so...you are slightly off with that...

No I proved your point. That Baylor has a good overall program. But we are not playing anything but football on Saturday. And they are woefully lacking there.

Numerous theories have been floated about why the Horned Frogs were left out joining the Big 12. The most plausible one was about TCU’s lack of political pull in Austin at the time of the conference’s creation – particularly when compared with Baylor and Tech when the SWC was unraveling.

TCU didn’t have a go-to political alum like then Texas governor Anne Richards and then Texas lieutenant governor Bob Bullock – both Baylor grads. Tech countered with power brokers like John Montford, then president pro tempore of the Senate, and Speaker of the House Pete Laney.

It means more to TCU than it does to Baylor. Patterson will have the guys on a mission.

I"ll say this game will be decided by 8 points or less. UT will hold up against the frogs if our secondary doesn't croak as it did last year.

I have to disagree about the "meaning more" to TCU thing. I mean, if they win it's "HEY WE BEAT BAYLOR!....oh wait, nobody cares 'cause it's just Baylor." But if Baylor beats TCU, the Bears have something to celebrate in beating one of the Top25 (poll-pending) football programs in the country. I'm not saying it DOES mean more to Baylor, 'cause the Frogs are hoping to be the BCS dark-horse, but rather that you can't definatively state which team wants it more.

What sucks for me is that I should be on the sidelines for this game. I was set to walk on for TCU last January but I backed out at the last minute because I wasn't ready physically or health wise. But it gave me an extra year to get ready and I am thankful for that. I have been working really hard and should be good and ready to go in top shape this January.

Morris is trying to rally his team around the "beat TCU" theme, i.e. the dog tags, etc.

Patterson is preaching that this is one of the teams that has denied TCU their rightful place in a BCS conference.

HUGE difference. And, yes, someone does care. Those someones are the longsuffering Frog faithful that are finally getting their due.

Mark it down, TCU in a romp.
