I agree with that one....should be a good game if both teams come out and play. Reagan's won every game in where they were the underdog....don't do to well when they are the big dog....example-Jay.

Why must we always talk about teams battling it out for third place?

That's another friend I've made :D

And bubbacoach, the reason why we talk about third place is it still matters, and 1st and 2nd are practically set in stone (CJ and SV)

Reagan might be overhyped.....but the question I wanna know....where in the world were the Reagan plays comming from?! The coach's rear-end?! I swear I have not seen worse play calling ever. "gee, this play hasn't worked the last 10 times so we'll run it 5 more!" Good game to Madison.

Advice to Reagan....keep firing Coaches until you can find someone who is creative enough to get this "offense" going....and get someone to teach the "defense" to tackle.

We don't have a freshman....I just checked the roster. We have one or two sophomores, that's it.

judson might have an o-coordinator for ya'.

for real, it was flag day for reagan...I listened to the game so I cant speak for the calls, but there were a load of flag in the first half and cost you big time.
Remarkable play on 4th and 13 for a TD. Good job by the kids.

Yeah...it's not my classmates fault that their coached like the way they are...

Believe it or not....I would prefer the Judson's o-coordinator because he seems a better passer and we need that.

As for the flags....don't even start. I think if a reagan player so much as touched a maverick, flags were raining from the sky. And they called a questionable block in the back and then madison did about three of the same blocks when they punted it. But the true team can overcome those.....

But as for our offense....we need to get creative....MY play calling seemed better. I actually called a play that we should do and we surprisingly did it (fake a run to the right and pass long to the left) had a reciever wide open....over threw it. Never tried that play again. Our running game consisted of anyone and everyone charging a tackle box and gaining at best two yards. We had our chances to score, and didn't....hence we need an offensive coordinator that can actually get touchdowns when we're in the redzone. Our defense just needs to tackle hard....I don't know how many times we had Green our Caflisch in the backfield but let him go because of our "hand tackling".

reagan had two nice long drive they should have scored on...I give credit to the madison D that wouldnt give it up.

flags...I counted six for each team in the first half (I might be wrong), but reagans came at critical times and for bigger yardage. three or four personal fouls. madison was called for more intelligent sh*& like delay of game.

for the second week in a row, madison's O came to play 30 minutes of football, reagan failed to take advantage of 3 punts in the second half.

Madison's D shut down Jones, reagan's D didnt shut down Green.

you dont NEED a passing game, before tonights madison averaged 6 passing plays per game. tonight 9. you need a running game that makes the pass an option.

sorry, had to bold the flag thing because that's the way the guys on the radio sounded. :D

btw, how come when we GAVE you a safety you got 2 points and when we EARNED a safety we got nada?

Who said we wanted to be like you?

I would prefer a more balanced run/pass game. I would also like more creative plays on our part. And the personal fouls....should've been lots more on Madison but it doesn't matter anymore. Reagan statistically outplayed the Mavs but couldn't do jack in the redzone....something we need to work on.

As for the safety....I had no idea what was goin' on. But the refs did see everything though.

I wouldn't say you necessarily shut him down. When he ran he put some yards on y'all.....he did an awesome spin move on a Maverick though and then sprinted for another 10 yards. But if you see, our two running and one fullback did most of the running. But our recievers are gonna need to learn how to catch the ball however. The only one who caught the touchdown was our #3 reciever....

I was thinking relative to your win over Mac---Jones had 224 yds on 24 attempts. That was the only game I looked at Reagan's stats on. In the Madison game Jones ran 23 times for 83 yds.

83 yards is quite a bit though.

But in the Mac game....and Harlingen game, Greg ran for an incredibly large amount of yards. But in the Madison one, Marcus Wright had 100+ and the other backs had a decent amount as well. Reagan lost because they couldn't do anything in the redzone. I might've gone a little far in what I said last night but I was sort of caught up in the moment. I don't think we should fire our offensive coordinator....yet. He just needs to be a lil more creative.
