In fifteen years, eight of the twelve SEC schools (66.7%) have played in the conference championship game. Six of those eight schools have won the game at least once. Those that have not participated are Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Mississippi and Kentucky.
In eleven years, six of the twelve Big XII schools (50%) have played in the conference championship game. All six schools that have appeared have won at least one championship game. Those that have not participated are Texas Tech, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Iowa State and Kansas.
