Apparently Cove was up to their same old stunts. You can't teach an old dog new tricks and apparently that cliche applies to dawgs as well. You really can't expect anything else at this point. I would quit scheduling them though. I have never seen them on the field of play be it 7 on 7, scrimmage or the regular season where there wasn't some kind of trouble.

Even the Copperas Cove paper made note of CC's unsportsmanlike conduct. It's pretty typical of CC though. I've seen them play AHS in 7 on 7, scrimmages and regular season play and Cove has always been penalized for their conduct. AHS is a very tough and physical team who is a bit cocky (deservedly so considering their accomplishments as of late), but they are not cheap. Maybe the cove players just don't like that physicality or something, but this kind of stuff has become pretty common with Cove.

Agreed. As I said on another forum, when an Eagle Scout is knocked down while he's trying to get back up and is forced to listen to trash talk all the way back to a huddle, it shows just how bad the Cove discipline is. He got stomped on, too.

I frankly don't know why Warren keeps scheduling Cove for anything.
