No Vondrell McGee? Interesting to say the least.

No Vondrell McGee? Interesting to say the least.

Only because Obi-Wan really stepped it up this offseason after being moved to RB and is proving to be the physical run threat Texas really lacked last year. Jamaal and Obi-Wan have been working exclusively with the first team where Vondrell has been with the second team. From what I have seen of Vondrell, he runs like Selvin last year in that he is a good mix of power and speed (though Vondrell looks much quicker than Selvin did) that will be a nice compliment to a pure speed back like Jamaal. In the end, baring something unforeseen, Jamaal and Obi-Wan will be the leading rushers this year.

I have made one change and that is putting Kirkendoll in as one of the possible back-ups to The Quan at that Sub-B position. I previously had Webber, but reports are that the true freshmen Collins and Kirkendoll have outperformed Webber so far and have risen past Payne who is nursing a sore leg. Malcolm Williams is another who should play a lot, but I would put him behind Sweed and Jones at the X.

indeed, but i'll go out on a limb and say the Quan is going to have a breakout year like romance did a couple years ago, he's that sick from what ive seen so far.
