....when I land (hopefully) in Houston on August 23? Jeez, what with TS Erin, Dean, and a summer's worth of flooding I am almost afraid that it'll be gone.

What have y'all been doing to the place in my absence?:D

Firebird don't worry, Texas will ALWAYS be here. Oklahoma sucks so much we'd never have a chance to get away from the states.

Texas will still be here and so will Abilene even though parts of town are under water today due to Elm Creek coming out of its banks from all the water that fell in south Taylor County on Friday. They issued mandatory evacuation notices for a huge portion of the NW side of Abilene. North Willis street looks like a lake as well as parts of North 1st street. They are saying the worst is over and now it's just a waiting game for the water to recede.

As long as Longview, Hawkins, Mt. Pleasant, Wichita Falls, Windthorst, Pampa, San Antonio, Converse, and Lubbock are still around, we're good!:p
