Just spent around an hour or so coming up with a complete Big 12 breakdown (http://big12talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=24). I have Nebraska winning the North at 7-1 in conference. Texas winning the South going undefeated in conference and out of conference schedule as well. Take a look (http://big12talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=24) and tell me what you think!

Mizzou.. 6-6 w/ losses to Illinois and Ole Miss??

Illinois returns 16.. from a 2-win team, last year. Their QB (with a sweet name) Juice Williams completed less than 40% of his passes. Now, Zook and staff says it was really around 60%, due to drops and throwaways. I don't know which is worse, a QB who really throws less than 40% or a team that has non-effective returning WR's (who can't catch) and an O-line (that allowed tons of pressure or sacks). True-freshman, WR-A. Benn is already touted as the go-to guy and the Fighting Illini returns 9 on defense. LB-Leman is a hoss. When they meet the Tigers, they'll face 9 starters returning for Mizzou, including excellent RB-Temple, Heisman hopeful-QB-Chase Daniel, dynamic WR-FranklinAll-Amercan Candidates-TE's Martin Rucker and Chase Coffman and 4 of the 5 starting o-linemen. That's a very potent offense. Personally, I see a 45-21 victory, for Missouri.

Ole Miss?? Their returning starting SENIOR QB threw 10 INT's and 9 TD's, last year. From what I hear, a walk-on QB, in Seth Adams, may be starting the opening game. The defense will start 2 returners (4), from last year. They are a sophmore (8)/junior (9) heavy team and won only 4 games, last year. I like their future, more than their present. When Jevan Snead takes over they may be a contender... in 2007, they'll be lucky to win 4 games.

As far as starters are concerned...
Also, both, Ole Miss and Illinois will be facing 10 Seniors, 9 Juniors and just 3 Sophmores in the Mizzou Tigers.

My bad. Mark that down as a L in Techs schedule.

That team is going to be quite a bit better than anybody is predicting.

I like how you think outside the box, but you need to clean up your game predictions. You have quite a few game result conflicts.

I'll live with 11-1 as long as they lose to Tech.

Agreed. And, sorry about the predictions, it was a long night...3:00 AM...etc.

I really think Harrell will have an amazing year this year and will finally do something to get the critics off of his shoulders. Hopefully Leech gives him a chance throughout the whole season if he struggles out of the gates. After seeing what he did and what he's capable of in high school, I can't get it in my mind that he's not gonna be good.

I had a few gems in this thread. I'm still looking for where I picked records. I know I did, but I'm not sure if everybody did.
