Pre-Season
vs Jets
Adrian Peterson has 70 yds/1 td on 8 carries, for the Vikings... against the Jets.. in the 3rd qtr!! His first carry was about a 35-yard scamper. Trust me, guys, the heart of a rookie is pounding, during every play of his rookie year.. regardless of whether it's the pre-season, regular season or post season. Granted it's the Jets, but it's still impressive. 8 carries for 70 yds/1 td.

He ran the ball real tough tonight and the hit he delivered to the Jets DB on the sidelines was great.

I think the injury concerns are overblown with this kid. He has all the tools to be a special back & has been elite in every level of ball he's participated in so far. Watching the draft last spring I could help but laugh at all they pub Quinn's slide got. He may have fell a few more notches than projected but Peterson's slide was the real story. An absolute gift for the Vikings as he, unlike Quinn, will be a perenial All-Pro.

He the first RB that I ever heard called a VIOLENT RUNNERI hope he have a good career but learn not to take on too many direct hits & not to try to run over everybody this the NFL not for long asked Earl... Everybody hit hard they are fast, big & strong in the NFL. Over all I really like him,He is the real deal. Good luck A.D :) 10/21/07 (Tex.Stad.)

Sweet. I've been called stupid for drafting AD for my fantasy team, but I really think he has a chance to have a great year. I may get lucky with both him and Calvin Johnson. Big risk on taking them both, but BIIIIG potential upside :)

I wouldn't do it unless your league is a keeper. WR aren't that valuable and the biggest point difference is roughly 3 points a game. AD will also probably share carries with Taylor until mid-season so if you got him in the later rounds then good job, but anything before 9 or 10 was probably a bust IMO.

AD? Do you mean AP?:p Is "AD" what everyone is calling Peterson?
I think Adrian Peterson is a good pick for running back. I believe he will have a bigger impact than Bush as a rookie.

I think he'll go off for 1300 yards unless Jackson is a complete failure at qb.

AD is his nickname and has been since he was a little kid, when his parents said he could run around "All Day." When he started playing football, the name started to have a different meaning. :p I hope no OU fans see that post because I hear they get quite defensive...
