View Full Version : Texas Connections
I think this should be made into a sticky. Throughout the College season, we should post weekly stats for players around the country who played High School ball in Texas. A way to keep tabs on Texas products.

Word on the street, is that former Tatum running back Lennon Creer is looking good for the Tennessee Vols. I know he played 3A and 2A ball, but, if Creer keeps his nose clean and works hard, then he could very well be on his way to playing on Sundays.

I think you are right about Creer. As far as him playing 3a or 2a ball, thats not that big of a deal, just remember that Adrian Peterson played 3a ball also.

Creer is just downright sick! Nice vision, good/great speed, size, etc. What the hell do they feed em in East Texas?
Brandon LaFell(Houston Lamar) LSU: 1 reception, 15yds, TD.

AND, one of the best blocks I have ever seen a receiver make in my life at any level of play...
The kid is a player!

Was it "THE" block that they were showing on ESPN?

Rov- McCray (Westfield) also had an interception for LSU. Not really saying much because he was going against a QB that wouldnt even start for a few HS teams here in Texas but he did have a pick against Miss St.
