Yes or No?

Good article from the DMN.

I think the Ags are gonna be very solid this year.

They'd come close to it anyway. Especially when you consider that defenses also have to worry about McGee's running.

can you imagine these guys on the OU or Neb teams of the 80's?

oh yeah, they need coach that'll call the 42 ISO when you need 4 freaking points. that'd help too!

still wondering why he spent 4/5 years in the QB graveyard.

Hopefully getting in to coaching. His Dad was a good one. He was a great athlete. At almost any other Big XII South school, he would probably be in the NFL right now.

As for the best one-two punch, A&M is good, but CJ spiller and James Davis at Clemson have to be the best. They combined for around 2000 yards rushing and 27 TDs while averaging over 6.5 ypc.

Pat White and Steve Slaton are nice as well

But as you just stated......C.J. Spiller (blazing speed) can take it to the house on any given play and James Davis is more of a pound it out type of back that gets better as the game goes along, but with splitting carries, it is probably harder to get in the groove but you also have fresher legs

Goodson and Lane are a good combination as well, but Clemson's running backs take the cake

And why would Schroeder be in the NFL had he gone to Baylor, Tech, OSU, etc.?

He was an average college receiver without "NFL speed" though I do feel that a 40 time is overrated. Some guys can simply get open and catch the ball. Wasn't he converted to WR after playing QB at Austin Westlake? I suppose he could have gotten into a camp, but I'm sure he had a chance to impress at least one scout at A&M's pro day.

Maybe not Baylor, but everybody knew he was going to be a college WR and he would have been showcased at OSU or Tech or Mobilhoma, etc. Fran hasn't and wont be putting out any WRs for some time. Of course, I think Schroeder committed to RC so he probably had no idea what he was getting himself in to.

Sorry, Aggies. They have a good tandem but they're not in the same league as Arkansas. McFadden & Jones are both dynamic. West Virginia is stout with Slaton & White, too.

Watch out for Tyler and McKnight at USC. They will be LenDale/Bush part II.

They will be good in a couple of years - but Tyler hasn't been lit up yet - playing that soft California HS ball. ;)

Tyler's been slow to recover from that broken leg. Was there more to that injury than what was initially reported? I also wonder if he doesn't end up at linebacker due to the ridiculous amount of scholarship backs there. He performed at the same level at lb as he did at rb in hs.

Good call on McFadden and Felix Jones. Jones had quite the game against Wisconsin in the bowl game and is explosive as you stated. Most people know what McFadden brings to the table. Clemson's tandem is nice as well. That may be a toss up
