What do you guys think about the compressed schedule that Districts 14 and 17-24 will be playing for the rest of the year? I think it makes it riskier for injuries and it makes upsets more likely. It won't hurt 17-24 in the playoffs, but it might get 14 beat out early since all the other region 2 teams played last week or on Monday.

I've never posted a poll and it was only right that Judson be in the first one!

Injuries could be a problem due to physical fatigue because of how physical the game of football is but i doubt it will have a huge effect. Injuries are usually just bad luck and can happen if you play 1 game in 20 days or 4 games in 11 days.

One side to the injury issue with having less time between games also gives players less time to tighten up. I think the players will like the rapid fire schedule because, ultimately, they just want to be able to hit people in different colored jerseys.

I think it puts an interestind twist on the region. Find who's really as good as they think they are. Kind of like nascar and the restrictor plate rule changes. They make all the different tweaks to the rules for each race to level the competition, but the same teams seem to always end up front. As far as injuries are concerned, players tend to suffer more injuries in practice than in the actual games, primarily from not going all out on every play.
