... when there was a knock on my door at 5:30 A.M. - yes, 5:30! - and it was cheerleaders with breakfast from Whataburger for my son!

Me thinks they go overboard at times.... :o

Your son must be quite the stud, I never had any 5:30am at-home breakfast from cheerleaders. :mad: :(

Oh, I don't know how much of a stud - his girlfriend is a cheerleader so she likely set it up.

Lookin' forward to that second game in the friendly confines of the Gopher Bowl.

I thought the house must have been on fire this morning... My son walked out the front door at 6:15 this morning.

Hebron is going from 6:45 till 11:00. It's like looking at "Dawn of the Dead" when you see a bunch of teenagers at that time in the morning after a lengthy summer of sleeping in.

I knew two a days were starting when I woke up at 5:30 this morning and just got home at about 2. Our coaches decided to make our practice 6:30 to 1:30 instead of a gap between them.

"Sleeping in" all summer. c'mon Hebron Dad, you know those kids have been in the weightroom every day this summer.

His son played defensive end last year. Tray Allen thought he was very good after we played them. I believe he is now a Junior. That speaks volumes. Lets hope for SGP's sake that he and Sedric are not in contact very much in the coming game ...

Yes, he is one of the DE's and will be starting this year. His first game last year as a sophomore was across from Trey Allen. Itold him to look on the bright side - it was all downhill from there!

Heh, same here. Our JV teams go from about 8:00-12. Varsity goes longer, I think to about 1:00 or 2:00. Today we're starting at 4:00.
