John Tyler- Getting a little help.

That is what the Tyler news paper had. So even though they loose star RB Kendall Hunter they look to get another boost from Stud WR Ernest Smith.

Yes he is a beast. With that massive JT O-Line providing time Maddoxx will hit his targets. Even without Hunter I think TJT can eaily go 8-2 loosing to Longview if they come to play.

I played for Lufkin last season you ediot. I grew up playing against alot of them Until my Sr. year when we moved districts. Maddoxx is a great QB he can throw down field and run. John Tyler has a very athetic O-Line. Kendall Hunter just got hurt he was one of the best underclassmen RB's in the state.
Giving the fact that I know so much about them is becuase I played against them since the 8th grade and ran track against them my whole HS career.
Damn can a Lufkin fan talk alittle bit about TJT. Why are you even worried about me talking good about them it's not like Lufkin will play them this season.

Yeah blow outs stink for personal stats. Last year, most Lufkin starters were out of the game at half or early third because of blow outs. Lane had no chance at having the most yards in the state because of that and i am sure McGee will have that same problem. The ones that usually rack up the stats are the great players that are on poor or average or above average teams that play all 4 quarters because they rarely blow out anybody!!

WR Ernest Smith should give JT a boost in the passing department. I like John Tyler, and Longview more then I do anybody else becuase we used to chill alot at the track meets together. They would talk about how cold we are in football, and we would give them there props back. I am not going to come on here and talk about Lufkin being the most dominate team in Texas or Lufkin this and Lufkin that. I already know what Lufkin can do. When Lufkin wins it doesnt suprise me that is what we a supposed to do. TJT winning is something new, and I would love nothing more then to see 4 East Texas teams in the playoffs this year. I dont think TJT will do much if they make the playoffs but it wont hurt to cheer them on. BTW Pack0808 I apologive about the remarks about question you to a father. No. Aldarius missed the game with a broken foot suffered against Grand Prairie the week before. We ran a toss to his backup, Ashton Smith. :) He got 152 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.

You dont have to tell me that. I remember 2003. Longview was pretty good and JT was horrible. We only beat them by one point. I am always weary of JT. Alot of tradition and pride there and you can't take them lightly.
