the winner is USC over Texas:eek:
http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news?slug=ap-bcsforecast&prov=ap&type=lgns

BCS national championship game, Jan. 7 in New Orleans

Southern California vs. Texas

A rematch of the classic Rose Bowl title game from two seasons, but with no Vince Young to keep the Trojans for winning it all.

Orange Bowl, Jan. 3 in Miami

Virginia Tech vs. West Virginia

The Hokies will have the nation's best defense east of Los Angeles, and the Mountaineers will have the best offense with Pat White and Steve Slaton.

Fiesta Bowl, Jan. 2 in Glendale, Ariz.

Florida vs. Wisconsin

After going 12-1 and no BCS last year, Badgers get there this time. This is how defending champion Gators rebuild.

Sugar Bowl, Jan. 1 in New Orleans

LSU vs. TCU

The Tigers might be a little disappointed with a second straight trip down state. The Horned Frogs are this year's BCS buster -- they get there with one loss, falling to Texas.

Rose Bowl, Jan. 1 in Pasadena, Calif.

California vs. Michigan

The Bears get to the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1959. The Wolverines get there for fourth time in five years, but this time they win it.

IMO McCoy can dominate the QB position his junior season. He had serious potential but charles needs to step up.

What they say about Colt:
Best player: QB Colt McCoy: He exceeded all expectations last season as a first-year starter. In fact, when McCoy was healthy, he ranked among the nation's top quarterbacks. Even after throwing three interceptions in a 12-7 loss to Texas A&M that ended the regular season, McCoy still finished the year ranked eighth in the nation in passing efficiency.

And this about Roy Miller (had to put it because I like to hear about my old school)

Most underrated: DT Roy Miller: The presence of Frank Okam and Lokey have prevented Miller from cracking the starting lineup, but you could bet he'd be starting just about anywhere else. Even in a reserve role, Miller managed to collect six tackles for loss and 3 1/2 sacks last year. This junior should team up with Okam and Lokey to give Texas one of the top collections of defensive tackles in the entire nation.

Yahoo is delusional. No way Texas plays in the NC game. Not with that powder puff non conf schedule. Then throw in the off the field issues. And players who may not suit up. I think that's really wishful thinking.

But they did have tOSU. this time they have nobody. In spite of that, I still do not see them going undefeated before the bowl games. That would be a tall order.

The biggest thing they have to replace is their OLine. If they are able to surprise us with some of that then it will be a good year for them, if not then expect another disappointment.

Are you kidding me. They have one of the easiest schedules, there fore going undefeated. Off the field issues big deal so what !If you consider TCU weak then thats ok, but whatever. I'll just say this, since I believe, they will go 14-0 this year.

sadly enough if Texas does go undeafted they will probably get a good look at the NC game only because they are Texas instead of because they deserve it.

I'm not saying that they don't, but thats how it will end up.

Thats is such crap, because there Texas and that they go undefeated means that they don't deserve it. Wow so I guess we should completely erase the entire 05 season then, shall we?

Have you seen Charles lately, he's more than capable in stepping up.

Most overrated: RB Jamaal Charles: His outstanding speed ought to make Charles one of the nation's top breakaway threats, but his longest run of the 2006 season covered only 46 yards. Charles boasts an impressive career average of 6.2 yards per carry, but he hasn't been reliable or durable enough to make the leap to stardom. He also has had a fumbling problem. If Charles stays healthy and holds onto the ball, he has the talent to develop into Texas' best overall player. Until he solves those problems, however, Charles belongs in this category. Charles participated in spring football practice instead of competing on the indoor track team, which indicates he's willing to put in the work to live up to his potential.

From Rivals

Now remember Boise St talk about undefeated nobdies

Well when Texas went to the Rose Bowl in 04' it was because they were Texas. Brown said "we are a great 9-1 team. We should get to go." Cal had just a good a season and when it came down to it, they gave it to the team that is more consistently good. Thats what I'm saying.

And I fixed your grammar mistake.;)

I guess I'll explain. 05 USC vs. UT. ESPN claim that USC was the "best football team in college history". Well the lost to you know who, and that's why I find it funny that if Yahoo is correct with there predictions, I hope it won't bite them again. I also find it funny that they pick USC over Texas because we don't have VY. That was the joke, I guess you have never heard about?
