Does anyone have any info on how North Shore (3-0) and Dobie (3-0) will work their schedule out?
North Shore was to play La Porte this past Friday...and Dobie was to play Deer Park...neither happened. They postponed to Monday (Sept. 26) and those were postponed, again.
So what's the deal?
Is the Dobie vs North Shore game on for this Saturday? (Houston Chronicle reported on Sunday (25th) that the Dobie vs North Shore game was still to be played at 2:00 pm on Saturday October 1st at Pasadena Memorial. Is this still correct?)
Thanx :D

The Sho will run the table. I think DP is the only team that will give them a good game. they will beat everyone else by 30+

The game was originally scheduled for this past Saturday at 2. I was definitely planning on seeing it. But since it will be on Tuesday...forget it.
I look for Shore to meet Westfiled in the playoffs though!!!
Heh, Heh, Heh!!!!

Dosen't matter when the game will be played, I'll tell you the game right now. Dobie will show up to play and hang with the Shore until mid 2nd quarter (if they're lucky the entire half) but by the 3rd quarter North Shore will at least have a two touchdown lead. Semieasy North Shore win but a valiant Dobie effort. My dad played for the Longhorns so I'm gonna root for em anyways, Go Dobie!

I kinda feel the same way...but there's been so many mindless upsets, be it HS, college or pro...you never know what you'll get! But I don't see DObie winning this...and it might even get ugly.
How much of Dobie's team from last year is back?...if you know. I saw them in the playoffs, against Katy, they seemed young!

I don't think anyone else will catch Shore sleeping like the Wood's did. They will run the table in the district with ease.
Deer Park almost lost to Clear Creek and they haven't won a game yet. That along with Dobie barely beating Deer Park in OT just puts that much more emphasis on how much better Shore is than the rest of the district. Deer Park has probably the best kicking game I have seen all season.
The first round playoff game should be a fun one to watch. Even if Pearland loses to Ball High this week, they will still meet Shore in the first round as usual.

North Shore will not lose a game in the regular season. Yes some teams may have improved or have one or two fantastic athletes. but one or two doesnt stand a chance against 7 or 8 great ones on each side of the ball. Speed and strength are the keys. NS and westfield will get the rematch everyone hopes for. This time westfield will have to play and beat us on our own turf. This will be the game of the year for the entire state. This will be like the state championship. Im not really sure who will win i know all arrows point in westfields direction cause of what happened last year but i just cant wait till then.

Yep it'll be just another day at the office for North Shore. Dobie will put up a good fight for a half quarter or two though after the intermission North Shore will put the hammer down and drive away with another win.

what can I say its hard to get excited when you know your teams only challenges will come in the pre-season and the post season. As much as the rest of the district has improved they are still nowhere near ready to give North Shore a real challenge. As I've said in other threads North Shore's biggest bump in winning a district tile is itself.

What years did your Dad attend Dobie? I was there from 1970-1974.
