A few years ago I dropped almost $300 on 4 tickets to a Cowboys game. Parking + food + a t-shirt & football came out to well over $100.

A friend of mine dropped $1600 on just 2 tickets to the 2005 RRS. The tickets weren't even that damn good, but the game made up for that.

I threw down $900 for 3 tickets to the NBA Finals. I've spent over $300 for a hockey jersey, but also good money for a lot of other stuff.

I also put down good money for the Final Four, other NBA Finals games, and Astros playoffs.

Ok. Summer 2005 definitely it for me. Sox/Yankees set for a 4 game set right after the all-start break. First 3 games I am slated for my normal area the right field bleachers. The sunday game I was 18 rows up halfway between the Sox dugout and Pesky's Pole. Total for all 4 tickets was $575. The thursday night game, the first of the series I spent between $65-70 on beer and another 7.50 on franks. Friday night and Saturday afternoon were both less than $30 on beer and another 7.50 both games on a Frank. The sunday night cap I spent another $65+ on beer and 7.50 on Fenway franks. My roundtrip plane ticket was around $230 and hotel was $115 a night. Other food and taxis and subway fares came out to about $125. I spent over $1200 that weekend to watch the sox lose 3 of 4 and get completely hammered. THe plane right home I smelled worse than a bar and was still drunk.

I probably spent $3500 on Mavs tickets in the playoffs in 2006 when you add in the other 10 games and gas.

I spent 5 dollars to see the astros in a nosebleed seat only to see Jennings give up 11 in one inning. All the sox and yanks tickets have been given to me for my birthday and other stuff. I've been lucky :p .

bought dinner for 4 at (pick one): Toyota Center, Reliant stadium, Minute Maid Park, or Texas Stadium

spent about $450 initially on league fees and and various equipment for my youngest son's first year of youth football. I think $225 or $250 was the fee.

bet $500 on SuperBowl XXVII( dallas vs Bills, part 1) and had no business betting even $50, but won. That was awesome!

You beat me all to heck. I spent $6.50 to get in to a Monday Night Oiler game. It turned out to be the Oiler vs Dolphin game that has been touted as the best Monday Night game ever. Great value for my $$ !:)

Does purchasing a motorcycle for cross-country riding/racing count? If so, I can blow these totals away easily.

I spent $1500 on football card boxes this summer, and another 300 on random signed baseballs. I pulled several good autograph cards, including Peterson, Russell, Addai, Manning, C Johnson. Also pulled a Ryan Howard ROTY autographed ball. Not bad.

It's OK, I might scalp my OU-TX student ticket this fall and just drink.

I'm more conservative and one cheap mother. I always look for bargains and buy most of my stuff on ebay.

The most I've spent is $200 for an autographed, limited edition to 100 pieces, diecast car of Richard Petty, and $150 for a certified, autographed 8X10 of Vince Young crossing the goal line with the winning TD in the championship game, totally framed and matted professionally.

The most expensive thing I own is a Dale Earnhardt Sr. Action diecast car from 1994, the first year they produced them, of his 1987 championship car. The last time I looked, it booked for almost $600, but I found it in a consignment shop for $30.
