I dont know, But I was at the game last Friday and both Chuck Jones the RB that took over for J. Evans and FS Demarius Washington both looked great. And both are Soph, Irving has a good chance of going deep in the playoffs this year with the talent they had out on the field last week.

Running back: Hallway fight led to suspension
Senior running back Jamall Evans said he has been suspended and isn't practicing with the team because of a fight that occurred Thursday morning in the school hallway.
Evans was one of four Irving football players suspended for Friday's District 6-5A opener at Grand Prairie, coach Jim Bennett said. Bennett said that he would not identify the other players and that he was told not to talk about the incident. Principal Linda Kimm did not return phone calls seeking comment.
Bennett refused to say whether the four will play in Thursday's home game against Hurst L.D. Bell.
Evans said he was sent home from school Friday and spent Monday in alternative school. He said the incident is unrelated to a hallway fight in January after which Evans was suspended for two days and give 20 days in alternative school. Evans and his mother said then that the fight was the latest in a long line of violent confrontations between groups of black and Hispanic students at the school.
Evans, ranked No. 23 on the Rivals.com state top 100 recruiting list, needs 298 yards to break Cowboys running back Tyson Thompson's Irving school district career rushing record of 5,755 yards. In three games this season, Evans has rushed for 902 yards on 93 Carries.

If he's having to attend alternative school and not practicing with the team, sounds like he's OUT.

We've been practicing like he will play. But in our district, a fight gets you anywhere from 3-12 weeks of Alternate School. I guess I won't expect him to play, which sucks, because if we win everyone(at our school) will still be knocking on us saying we won because he didn't play. Even if we hang 50 points on them, they still will think that our 50 point barrage will have to do with Jamaal Evans not playing, even though he has nothing to do with defense.
I heard a pretty good line yesterday:
Q: What's greater, my great grandmother's age or the amount of points that we will lose by against Irving?

Allright, just spoke with Adron Tennell at our rain postponed JV game.
Jamaal Evans will not be playing this game, however, he stated that his backups will run for 200 yards each.
