Does this mean AHS and Cooper will both be in Shotwell next year?

Might be. Odds are the AHS/Cali matchup would be a one and done instead of a home and home. It would be great to have Cooper and AHS taking the two Saturday games. I wish they would schedule both schools so that they are at the Classic the first week of the season. That would mean no home and homes, but I think it could be done.
I know the AD has said they have been contacted by teams from New Mexico, California, Arizona, Utah, Colorado and Florida about playing in the Champions Classic. The best rumor I have heard yet is that Glades Central, the team that came to Abilene for 7 on 7 this Summer, wants to come back for the Classic. That is just a rumor, but it would be awesome.

If they do get a bunch of interstate matchups, the Classic will gain a lot of national exposure and prestige. That'd be pretty cool to see schools from Fla. taking on Co. schools. But of course, Texas still has the Saturday matchups!:D
