where are you AM fans and alumni? Great Baseball run and school history. My friend tells me you have a new, ENERGETIC FB coach. SL comes over to play you in a scrimmage later this month and I'm interested in hearing wassup!

I may be the only Martin fan on here (except for Vols4:D ) All I can tell you is that it looks like there is a lot more student involvement in the football program now. Coach is VERY energetic to say the least. With the 2nd largest enrollment in 8-5A there should be more talent on the field this year. One of the feeder schools consistently produces Jr. High city champs. In the past some of these kids went north for "acedemic reasons". That has changed. Martin produced 8 D1 players last season. They won't be the biggest or the quickest team in the district but they should compete for a playoff spot. 6 or 7 returning starters on both sides of the ball. I haven't seen SLC play so I'm looking forward to the scrimmage. My kid will be a freshman this year. Bad news is they play at 8:00 AM.

More bad news, SLC beat Martin 4-3 last night in the summer high school hockey league.

A friend of mine has a son who will be moving to Defensive end on Martin this fall...tells me how fired up this coach is for the season... their freshmen squad last year looked like it has some players moving in... lots of players, if I recall, when they came up to play our fresh guys last August...wish you guys the best this year

Yes, lots of kids at the conditioning camp this summer. My kids Jr. High team went undefeated and won city last year (also beat two D-ville schools) so there is some talent coming up in the future. Wish I knew more about the varsity this year.

JV hockey team will be strong again as well. Now, if we could just get a little press:D
