For the Cy-Fair Bobcats i choose:
Sam McGuffie - RB
Chris Lathrop - OT
Chris Patrick - K
Austen Wozniak - DL
Wesley Cobb - RB
This was a very tough choice as i think several others rate close to these as well. Gino Collins-WR, Karl Wolfe-DL, Peter Hand-DB (will hear this name a lot this season), Colby Goodwin-TE, Andrew Hegarty-WR, Michael Elliot-DB (will put the hurt on you)
There are others that are on this squad i'm sure.

I am going to name the top 5 expected for Trinity. But, the summer time has been very generous to some in the growth department, and some guys who have busted their rears on the track and in the weight room, who are unknowns, and who are going to surprise everyone. I won't name those guys, just the expected guys.
1. Wayne Heimuli
2. Dontravious Robinson
3. Nate Adams
4. Robert Griffin
5. Junior Kautai
Also, we have 3 guys who I didn't list who could be on the list that it looks like they might be going to the Privates.

not bad, very hard to pick a top five....
i 'll have to agree with #1 & 2 but
3. Eric ball(Center)
4. brad graham
5. terrance avie WR...He has become a stud. May end up being one of the most well rounded Recievers we've had a katy. Unbelievable hands, maybe the best verticle in the state, and very deceptive speed.
Bo and blaine would be at 6 & 7 on my list. But this year, you are one heck of a player to be on a top 10 list at katy.

West I think it is hard to argue a bunch of different guys. I went with Bo above Avie simply because Dean will get a big portion of the work and when Avie does get the ball Bo will be the one to get it to him. I also had a hard time leaving off Stayton and Zavala as well.

I agree. Obviously he may not be as valuable as Dre due to the type of offense we run but he is way too talented to not put up numbers as good as, if not better than, Dalton. Except less touchdowns because we didn't have the run game that yr like this yr and Fuda knew how to score more than anything else. Bo did get invited back to the Elite 11 camp so that speaks volumes on his ability. On behalf of Zavala though, he'll crack some heads and break some knees this fall for sure.

So I think we should just go ahead and cancel district play this season, CP now has 2 1/2 top 5's (12 players). Better to concede now than face the humiliation of facing that juggernaught. :D
TWHS:
1 - Tracy Milo (RB)
2 - Brandon Thompson (OL)

Actually between me and Midline, we named 14 players. So I guess that would make it 2.8 top 5's per slot. But then again, what do we know. We're just a bunch of rejects :D. You can't very well expect us to be able to count :D

D-Thomas is grade A D1 for sure but the rest???
McLean is nice but a bit short for D1, I saw him late last year at the awards banquette and he looked like he had put on a few pounds of beef but still a bit short for D1
Wiggins has a lot to prove this year as he was hurt most of last year. I did see him pick off two passes in 7on7 and he has some good size, but need to see him play at this level for a complete season before saying he is D1
Lambeth will be tested early this season against Seguin (QB) and O'Connor (QB), jury still out till then.
Miles?????? He did not play 7on7, rumor I heard is he transferred to SV with Powell, he is quick and tough but way undersized for D1
Pitts has good size and some speed but the defense got shredded last year. Not many D1 teams will even look at a team with problems like Madison had last year. Lets see what happens by week 5 before sending Pitts off to a D1 school.
Ehrlich has me scratching my head a bit? He has no wheels and is not tall enough for D1. He has a good arm but tends to not look off the coverage and try to force things. He's not a bad QB but probably has a better chance to go D1 in baseball.
Williams needs to find a home. He has size but started off at RB and was shaky. Moved to DE and learned the position on the fly and had some moments last season. Still need to see more.
Josh Corby is a possible D1

this is something that is not practiced at J-rock. best player announcements are left up to post season awards and even those are shared amongst the players. it's all for one and one for all. and we comin' atcha so fast, you can't even tell who's who anyways. :-)

1 Kyle Miller SR TB-FS 5' 11, 180, 4.45
2 Michael Brooks SR DT 6' 4, 255, 4.85
3 Cav Koch SR CB-WR 5' 10, 170, 4.5
4 Sam Wernick SR WR 5' 10, 170, 4.4
5 Adam Bauer SR DE 6' 2, 225, 4.85
Miller was the team mvp as a junior, and he will be the primary ball-carrier. Brooks supposedly was unblockable all spring and has stood out at every camp he's attended this summer. Although he has some 1A offers, his weight is an issue for some colleges. Koch & Wernick are little, but both are play-makers. Bauer was the most consistent DL last season, according to the coaching staff, and he is very strong.
